the distance is only 15 miles, but on the way to work is 35 min and on my way home can be anywhere from 45min-1.5 hours depending on season/constrcution, etc.

I commute 15 miles to school but it takes 35 mins to (5pm traffic) and 25min going home (9pm by then)

(unless he leaves the house by 5:45ish.. then it's usually 1 hour) -
A 30 second walk from my bedroom to the living room. It is one of the many perks of being a live-in nanny!

Evenings: 10 mins to day care, and then 45-60 mins home cause of traffic. -
Door to door it's a 10 mile drive that usually takes about 30 mins in the summer and an hour during the school year.

Directly from house to work is about 10-15 minutes, but I do daycare drop-offs in the morning and our daycare is the opposite direction of where I work... so it takes me 15 min to go to daycare, then 30 min to go from daycare to work, so my commute ends up being 45 min!

45 minutes on public transportation (subway, then bus) or 30 minutes driving. But most days, I don't have a car. The upside is that I don't have to be the one driving through traffic!

Now it's about 35 minutes each way, mostly back roads. Before we moved, however, I was commuting at least 1.5 hours each way.

24 miles each way, takes about an hour on average, give or take 20 minutes for traffic fluctuations. For one year of my adult life I had a 10 minute commute and it was sooo glorious.

When I go into the office, it can be anywhere between an hour and 15 to an hour and 45 depending on if I have to drop off DS that morning or not.

35-40 minutes door to desk, on public transit. I love it, time to read and decompress and DH and I ride together in the morning
I used to have a horrible car commute 20 miles, 1-2 hours in terrible traffic before I switched jobs. The change in commute has had a major positive impact on my quality of life overall.

Ugh, too long. With no traffic/weather/construction, I can make it in a little under 30 minutes to/from. Recently with aaalll of the road construction and awful traffic, it's been taking me about an hour each way. I despise it.

30 miles. Mornings take about 40 minutes. And way home can be 40-50 minutes depending on traffic.

I commute 33 miles each way. In the morning it takes me a little longer, 45 minutes to 1 hour, (Leaving 10 minutes earlier or later can make a big difference). In the evening it usually takes me 45 minutes except on Friday nights when it takes me an hour. I live in an area that is popular for tourists so, Friday night traffic is an issue.
