How long do you wait when your child can't even keep fluids down before you call the pediatrician?
M has been throwing up anything she eats or drinks since yesterday. She keeps wanting to drink, though because she is terribly thirsty. That water just keeps coming up. 24 hours? 48?

NOW. Don't wait to call! If she can't keep down any fluids, even water, you may have to go to the ER to get an IV. You don't want her to become dehydrated. Poor baby!

If she can't even keep fluids down I would definitely call. Especially because it's already been 24 hours. You don't want her to dehydrated either. Poor M!

Call now if she can't keep fluids down. Have you tried doing Gatorade or pedialyte just one teaspoon/5mL every 30 minutes to start? Sometimes water just won't stay down but those will and tiny amounts are the trick.
