How long was LO in your room, if at all? We are at 3.5 months and ready for her to make her exit.

I'm probably in the minority, but since we are co-sleepers LO is still in our room at almost 15 months. I'm ready for her to sleep in her own crib but not yet ready for her to leave our room

@mrsjazz: I have to admit that I thought we'd never co-sleep, but we do from time to time if LO wakes up early and we want to guarantee that she sleeps a few more hours. She sleeps like a rock next to me. Our bedroom is too small to fit a crib, but her room is ridiculously close.

Lo was in our room just over 7 months, I was scared for her to be on her own and it took about a week to get used to not having her so close.

@BKCaribBaby: Yep. We never planned on co-sleeping. It just ended up making sense for going to work & continuing with breastfeeding. Also, I know I sleep 100% better with DH next to me and I know that applies to LO sleeping next to me, too. But I'm afraid we're never going to get her out of our bed, haha. Which is why we are trying to get her to sleep in her crib.

P is 15 mths & still in our room... We co-sleep/co-bed with a sidecar set up, she spends most of the night in her "space".
@mrsjazz: Have y'all considered a sidecar to transition? I was surprised how amazing it is... We'll be doing it from birth for the next! Lol

She moved to her own room at about 7.5 months. She could have moved a lot sooner as she was sleeping through the night at 2.5 months, but we liked having her near us. She was a great sleeper and never woke us with her sleeping noises, nor did we wake her when getting ready for bed and reading in bed, so we really didn't have any great motivation to change things. I was sad the first night she was out, but I quickly got over it and enjoyed having our room to ourselves again!

@runsyellowlites: Yes. We sidecarred her crib but so far she always climbs over to my side or she sleeps halfway in the crib and halfway on me.

3 months on the nose. They shared a cradle until then, then shared a crib in their own room. They're in their own cribs now. I was amazed at how QUIET it was in our room once they moved out!

A little over a month. My son was a ridiculously noisy sleeper as a newborn and we all slept better when he was in his own room. Same apples now at 14 months! When we are traveling and sleep in the same room we sleep like crap!

About 2.5 months in the R&P next to the bed. After that we moved the R&P into the nursery so she was still in her cozy little space. At 5 months we moved her to the crib (that sounds crazy but she was tiny!).
We all slept better when she was out of our room. She was getting really sensitive to our movements.

3 hours? Maybe 15 minutes of that was sleep.
I was planning to co-sleep. The arm's reach co sleeper is still next to my bed now at 4 months. She just had other plans. She and I ended up sharing the living room for 3 weeks. She was in a bassinette and I was on the couch. After that we moved her to her room and I moved back to mine.

We were in between houses when she was born. so we kept her in our room until we moved at around 7 months.

10 months. He still comes to our bed if he wakes in the middle o the night & if we're napping together.

6 weeks. She was already getting too big for the bassinet.

we coslept from about 12 weeks to 8.5 months and then he grew out of it I was so not ready, still miss him in bed with me and its been a couple months!

He's 5 months and still in our room (in his crib). I moved him from a little co-bedding pod thing around 2 months, I think, because he outgrew it. I cried that night, I was so sad! But I got over it and like having my space back, now.

1 month. He transitioned into his crib really well. Until 5.5 months (when we sleep trained) I'd bring him to bed with us after an early morning wakeup, usually between 2 and 4am.

She moved into her own room at five months when she started pulling up on her cosleeper.

For the first two weeks we slept downstairs on the couch while our LO slept in a pack 'n play. Then we all transitioned upstairs after, and LO stayed in his room while we slept in ours. His room is right across from ours.

Need multiple choices.
#1 is still in our room at age 3
#2 moved to her own room at age 4 months. At that point she began sleeping through the night!

Still in our room at 19 months - though he falls asleep in his crib perfectly. He wakes up and I bring him to bed. DH works nights, so I don't mind him in bed with me.

5.5 months. she started rolling in her crib at grandma's and was pissed when she couldn't do it in the cosleeper!

We moved from a 1br to a 2br just after LO turned 2 months, so we transitioned him to his new room right away. He was by no means SSTN, so I was constantly waking up and going to his room, but he didn't seem to notice the difference.

2 days - she was too noisy of a sleeper to stay in our room.

LO is 3 months and still in our room and I plan to keep her there until winter is over (am in Aus). It is just too cold to get up in the middle of the night and I just do that feed in bed. She is getting too big for the bassinet so hopefully she starts STTN before I have to move her.

My son was in our rom from birth - 5 weeks. He was in the crib in his room until he swaddle weaned at 6 months. From 6-11 months, he and I bunked together in his room on the futon.
Then we sleep trained and he was on his own for a year. Then we moved and he bunked with us for 6 months. He's now 2.5 and we're transitioning him to his own big boy bed in his room. It's a process, lol.

Around 5 months...but he had been sleeping in his room for naps sooner than that.

3 months! Our bassinet had an age limit so once he hit it, we moved him into his room.

3 months... she was outgrowing her bassinet, otherwise I would have kept her in our room for a couple more months.
honeydew / 7235 posts
5 months... He was still in the Rock n play next to our bed an he was literally growing out of it so we moved him to the crib.
