From start to finish?
32 hours from the time I started having time-able contractions (12-15 minutes apart, but consistent, and I couldn't sleep through them) until I pushed him out.

45 hours from the time I started having consistent contractions to delivering P. I had had nightly "false" labor for just about a week though.

14 hours from when they started to ripen my cervix for an induction, 10 hours from when I was 1cm dilated and my water broke. I ended up not even needing pictocin!

I had NO contractions previous to water breaking. It broke on its own at 1050pm on a Friday night, I was holding DS at 1:54am Saturday!!! Scary how fast the next one might come!

I was induced so from the time they hooked me up to pitocin to baby was about 10.5 hours (only 4 hrs to fully dilate but we had to labor down because LO was still too high.

I was 72 hours from start to finish. I had a few periods during the 1st day when the contractions completely went away, but for the most part I was experiencing painful timeable contractions that entire time. I knew labor could be long, but I never had any idea it could be that long.

I am amazed by those of you who were in labor for days! I can't imagine it!
My first contraction was at 6:30 am and he was born at 7:15 pm. I stayed at work until about 1:45 pm. Everyone said I would have so much time, since he was my first, but it felt pretty quick to me!

@junebugmama: Awww... someone else in the same boat! How did yours turn out? I ended up with a normal delivery although some pitocin and an epidural were involved at the very end to finally get things moving (and then to deal w/ the pain from the pitocin contractions).

@matador84: me too! live in fear of that thought
7 hours and 50 minutes from water breaking to baby in my arms. I was expecting much, much longer, and was very happy the epidural slowed progress just a bit. It would have been even faster, but I don't want to know how bad the tears would have been. So happy I labored down!

@lemondrop: I was happy to labor down for an hour too, it gave me a break!

Waters broke at 0530 on Monday morning, went into active labour at 1130, delivered LO at 1424 on Tuesday so 6 hours of early labour and 27 hours of active labour incl 2.5 hours of pushing.

10 hours 45 min from first contraction, which also broke my waters
Totally in awe of those who went for 24+ hours. I was so tired I didn't even open my eyes for the hour of pushing! I'm sure my midwives thought I was crazy.
