@pennylane I had a precipitous birth! My ob said about less than 3% of all births happen that fast...it was less than 3 hours from start to finish. They didn't even have time to finish my admission paperwork at the hospital!

27 hours. It was an awful (unplanned) induction, and I narrowly avoided having a c-section. Although I didn't have a *plan* per se, other than to have a healthy baby, I would hope that if I have another baby that the labor process would be a little smoother.

24 hours from when my water broke but I wasn't in active labor until 6 hours before he was born.

From induction with pitocin to c-section it was 17 hours, with 2 1/2 of it being pushing.
