Between 1880 and 2014, there were 486 Hyla's born. The name ranks like 17,000 on the SSA database. The most Hyla's born in a year was 15 and that was in 1931. I think the year she was born, there were only 3.

For A, 961. For D, his name hasn't been in the top 1000 since 2002. Probably ever. According to some other website I found once (can't remember which one), there were like 20 babies with his name in his birth year (2013).
