We're having a shower at our church and my MIL/SIL are hosting a co-ed shower for us. I honestly didn't think I'd have one, and am happily surprised.

By the time the last one is done (2 weeks from now) we’ll have had 3. We had one with immediate family that was co-ed, my mom and sister put one on for all of my girlfriends/my mom’s friends/family friends that was all ladies and MIL is throwing one for all her side of the family that will be co-ed as well. I definitely like the co-ed ones better! Being the center of attention at showers always makes me nervous but it’s so much easier when DH is there too!

I had one. But it was a huge, coed one. It had about 70 people.

Two...three of my best friends offered to throw me one, which was a really wonderful surprise, and my mom is throwing a family-only one.

I had three. I'm originally from WI and all of my family and many friends are there, so I had one there. Then I had one down here in TX for DH's family and local friends. I also had a small shower thrown for me at work.

I was supposed to have two. One at home in Boston for family and friends, and then one here in Nashville for work and local friends. But we just had to cancel the Boston shower because my doctor doesn't want me to fly up there because of some complications. It was a bummer, especially since we'd already sent invitation and everything. But I will still get my Nashville shower and then my mom and dad are going to host a sip n' see up in Boston after the baby gets here.

i'm having two: one larger one where my family is with local friends as well, and then a smaller one with just friends where i live.

I had one. Don't think I'll have another one for any future LOs!

We had two! One with my side (East Coast) one with his (Chicago). It's hard to have family so far apart, but it's great to have the chance to celebrate with everyone.

So far I know of one that is scheduled. But I think there is one more in the works.

I had one kind of, sort of shower.
My husband and I live in Colorado, and my family is mostly in WI. His family is in WA and CA. We don't really know very many people out here and we work a ton of hours so taking time off to travel places for a shower wasn't really do-able.
My cousin is also pregnant and so my aunts threw us a co-shower together in WI. I couldn't make it up there, and I guess my cousin wasn't feeling well so she had to leave right away so it was kind of a shower with no guests of honor! Since they had to ship everything to me, I only got little stuff like outfits, blankets, and pacifiers but I still thought it was sweet of them to do.

Zero- I hate being the center of attention so I begged everyone not to throw me a shower!

@Beyond2: I'm the same way, showers make me uncomfortable. Not sure if anyone will offer to throw us a baby shower, and if someone does, I don't know what to say! I turned down all wedding shower offers, but I felt like a bad person for it.

I had 4...not by choice! Very blessed. One in my hometown, one in the town where DH and I live that was thrown by his mother, a work shower at work, and then a work shower with younger girls.

I had two ~ one with church/childhood friends, and another at work.

I'm sort of hoping for none...at least until after the baby arrives! I come from a somewhat superstitious tradition that doesn't fully celebrate the baby until he/she arrives. So while we will, inevitably, have some of the big stuff at the house and set up (and gifted), we probably won't do a party/shower/celebration until there's an adorable little baby right there with us.

i had one but it was a big one tht had all my family and friends. around 35 people.

None. All of our family and close friends live really far away, and none of our local friends are baby-minded at all. I'm kind of bummed, especially because we won't even get to see our relatives until at least 6 months after baby is born.

None, because I live far away from the shower throwing side of the family...but I also don't like the idea of showers anyway...I prefer to shop on my own.

I didn't have any and it still makes me a little sad. All my family and friends are back in Texas and they don't really do showers here. I know if we'd been in Texas I would have had at least 2 (church friends and other friends), possibly more.
We're hoping to get to visit soon and I think people at my church might throw a sip n' see which would be nice.

No idea! I'm going on seven months and have only heard that my older sister is planning one, which is expected.

4 - all much to my surprise!
There were 2 works ones (I work out of 2 offices and each threw me a party - huge surprise!), 1 at our house, and 1 thrown in CA by my MIL and her sisters.

4! One with my family, one with my work, one with my friends, and one with my DH's family. Two before baby and two after. It's our first child so I feel fortunate!
