We only have one bed which is in our room. I want to put a twin bed in the nursery so I can nap with LO (loud sleeper)when DH needs his quality sleep before an overnight shift!
How many beds do you have in your house?

Currently 2. A king size in our room and a queen in the guest room. We plan to put a pullout sofa in our loft before baby gets here since we expect to have more visitors.

@autumnlove: This is exactly what we plan to do. We currently only have our bed, but are getting a twin to put in the nursery. I figure it is good for us to have to options of places to sleep.

We loved having a twin in the nursery, we used it as a day bed for reading and snuggles. I think it made the switch to big girl bed easier too, because she was already used to it before she started sleeping there.

One. We're in a one bedroom and have an air mattress for guests to sleep in the living room (just close family on occasion.) We'll be moving to a 2 bedroom but will still only have one bed...and a crib!

Wow, I never thought we had a lot... but we've got our bed, guest bed, toddler full sized bed and a full futon in the basement... plus 2 crib mattresses.
So 4 or 6 depending on how you count!
