@autumnlove: This is exactly what we plan to do. We currently only have our bed, but are getting a twin to put in the nursery. I figure it is good for us to have to options of places to sleep.

We loved having a twin in the nursery, we used it as a day bed for reading and snuggles. I think it made the switch to big girl bed easier too, because she was already used to it before she started sleeping there.

Wow, I never thought we had a lot... but we've got our bed, guest bed, toddler full sized bed and a full futon in the basement... plus 2 crib mattresses.

So 4 or 6 depending on how you count!

We have three (two queens and one full) plus a pull out couch in the basement.

One in our room, queen in the guest room, LO's crib, and a single bed set up in the basement (that will eventually be LO's, it was DH's bed growing up!) for extra sleeping space.

One. We have a futon in the guest room, and a crib in LO's room.

a king in our bedroom, a full futon + crib mattress in charlie's room, and olive's crib mattress.

so 2 regular beds, and two cribs.

We have a queen bed in our master bedroom and a full bed in the guest bedroom.

I'm envious of everyone with a king bed!

We have a queen in our room and a crib in the baby's room. We never have overnight guests since we live in the same town as our parents but any potential guests would get either the couch of one of two air mattresses.

We have our queen, a full size futon, and our old queen mattress that we just replaced and need to get rid of but didn't get around to this week.

We just have our bed and if you count that crib that's the only other bed we have in our house.

We have our king and a queen for guests. I wish we had a pull-out sofa, but we have a couple of air beds we can use when necessary.

We have 2 kings, 1 queen, 1 crib, 1 queen futon, and a pullout sofa. I'm thinking of getting a twin or full for LO as a floor mattress. She doesnt sleep in her crib and currently cosleeps with us. Gosh, we have a lot for 3 people.

1 queen, 1 quen sized futon in the guest room and LO's crib.

We just have our queen in the master. We have an air mattress, but guests usually end up sleeping on our giant (comfy) sectional.

We have 3, a king in our room, a queen in one guest room, and a double in the other guest room. We also have an inflatable that we can put in the nursery to accommodate another 1-2 people.
