I was just wondering. When I was about 7, we got our first computer in our home, and even when the technology grew to the point everyone had wifi, we still had one big old clunky tower desktop with cable internet. So, up to the time I bought my own laptop and got a wifi modem, we only had one Compaq desktop. Then, I had an HP gaming laptop. Now, DH and I have an Acer laptop that we use strictly as a desktop (17 inch screen I think), which we use mostly for video chatting my parents and things I want to work on while sitting at a desk with a larger screen, he has a MacBook Air, I have a MacBook Air I've only kept to play the Sims when on a flight or something (don't judge, I modded the heck out of that sims game and I don't want to lose all my hard "work"), a MacBook Pro Retina Display for uni or work, and what I use for leisure and what I take with me places, a turquoise HP chromebook 14 inch. I know, we have a lot of computers! I reckon it will be good though for our kids to use someday, if they all are still working. So how many do you have?

I have a Dell laptop that I use as a desktop for work (my work software is only PC compatible) and an old MacBook Pro that a rarely use. I also have an iPad mini.
DH has an HP laptop that is about to die and a work laptop that he brings home (can't remember the brand). DH also a Surface tablet and iPad, both are work-issued. -
Hubby has a desktop PC (gaming etc) that he built, and I have a macboo air - we also have 2 ipads.

An Acer laptop and a Microsoft Surface Pro. We also have 2 Dell laptops that are basically defunct (10+ years old) and we need to pull the data off. The Acer has never been a great computer (7 years) and is on it's way out. Trying to decide what's next.

My husband and I both get MacBook Air laptops from work.
I have an 8.5 year old iMac desktop that is just about ready to be replaced within a year.
So 3 total computers + a 3 year old iPad. -
I have a Dell laptop, and DH has a desktop that he built. I use my Galaxy Tab S as much, if not more, than my laptop.

@Bubbles: Lol, me too! That's the reason why I don't care to get an ipad. I'll just use my laptop. -
@WinterBee: DH would love to get an iPad but I'm just not sure when we'd use it. But maybe if we lived in larger home where you weren't always within a few metres of the computer!

We are really behind the times! We have a really old desktop that I bought before we even met that is set up in our home office. But we both have work laptops that we bring home, he has a galaxy tablet, and I have an iPad mini.

We have way too many. We have 5 desktops (wth?!) right now, plus 2 work laptops and 2 personal laptops.

I have a macbook pro that I use for... everything. My husband uses my old macbook but pretty much just for his itunes/music/video storage. He primarily uses his iPad, but he also has a work laptop (no idea the brand-- some sort of pc) he brings home whenever he needs to work here.

DH's old macbook pro (might set up for DS because he loves to push buttons), Macbook Air for me, Macbook Air for DH, DH's work laptop (that he doesn't use) & DH's desktop he built for computer games that won't run on his Air. DH's planning on getting a new computer this fall, so lots around our house!

an imac for my work, a macbook pro that we recently revived after thinking is died for 2 years! but we also have 2 iphones and 2 ipads (one loaded with kids' stuff) so that takes the burden off having another computer.

@aderyn: oh man, the sims. What an addiction I had with that game. You would think as old as I am I would find the game too juvenile, but nope! I had to stop playing tho bc I would end wasting soooo much time.
In our house we have a cheap personal laptop and an ipad. We also both have work laptops provided by our companies.

We have two, my MacBook, and my husbands MacBook Pro. He takes his to work with him daily, so my computer is used as the "home" computer. We also have an iPad.

We only have 1 laptop that is less than a year old. We hardly ever use it. We also has a kindle that get used a fair amount. Our iphones are our main source of internet use.

We have an imac, mac mini, macbook pro and a macbook. DH uses his imac often and macbook pro occasionally. My computers are the mac mini and a 8 year old macbook, but I also have a ipad mini and an iphone. (DH has an iphone, too). Ever since I got the ipad mini, I use my mac mini very rarely.
Oh, I do have a work laptop (Dell) that I bring home when I'm working from home.

My husband has a Dell Windows laptop and I have a Toshiba Windows laptop both are about five years old one should probably upgrade one.
We also have a Galaxy Tab 4 and the original Kindle Fire.
If we're counting smart phones we have two Galaxy threes and One work Blackberry Bold.

I have a macbook from 2009 that i mostly use as storage for photos, music, etc If i need to edit documents in word, or do a photo project. I rarely use it and i really need to back it up with our external hard drive. I use the ipad and iphone way more
Hubs has a samsung Laptop and tablet and smart phone.... all are under a year old and he uses them all daily

We have 2 iPhones, 2 iPads, and 1 HP laptop that I'm sure is going to bite the dust soon. T has a Dell laptop that he uses for work. I told T that our next computer needs to be a Mac.

WE have an ipad...seriously that's it! I have a Dell laptop I can take with me home from work anytime I need it. Our Toshiba laptop died 2 years ago and we never felt the need to replace it, however now I want to get another laptop since our daughter has taken over our ipad as her own!
