Not too many, maybe 2-3 a month. But I agree, they are usually a huge waste of time since people don't really pay attention anyway.

I manage a couple of committees at my nonprofit job, and when I'm on a conference call it's usually someone who can't attend in-person calling in to our physical meetings. Usually, the person on the phone zones out and we all forget they're there. In other words, REALLY effective.

Regularly, but that's because my team is spread out across the country. It's what works for us, and thankfully it's rarely a waste of time.

Depends on the time of year. Sometimes 1-3 a day and sometimes 0. There are some times of the year when I'm on GoToMeeting 5-9 times a day...meh

I don't think I've ever had to be part of a conference call - thankfully! I would have such a hard time paying attention...
