LO hasn't had any yet, she's 11 months old. But, she isn't around other babies/kids that much - well, kind of. I nanny 2x a week and she comes with me, but it's summer so school's out - less school age germs.
eta - meaning she hasn't caught any colds, etc. from the girls

Dd has never had one. She's 32 months now.
DS is 6 months and hasn't had one yet.

She had 9 in six months... I think it was a total of 13 before we got the tubes in when she was 15 months

Um... I lost count? All I know is that he was one or two ear infections away from being referred to an ENT. But he is also in daycare and was pretty much sick all winter.
ETA: He only had antibiotics 3 times though.

None so far at 11 months but she just got her first two colds in the last less than three weeks.

I think that's normal
T is 15.5 months and has not had one that we have known of....but has had plenty of other illnesses.

LO has yet to have an ear infection, but I hear it's pretty common. I suspected an ear infection a few months ago because he was bothered by his left ear. Just happened to be some perfectly placed ear wax.

Lala has had one. M has had 4. I'm a big believer that breastfeeding protects against otitis based on my tiny in home experiment. I know others' experiences may be different.

I think she had two in the first year or so. None since then so far...

He had none before he turned 1. We started daycare at 1. It was countless after that... I am talking about every 2-4 weeks.sometimes the infection don't clear after a round of antibiotic so I dunno if it is counted as 1 infection or 2. It was bad. We decided to do tubes at 17 months. No infections since.... Knock on wood!

@Mrs. Jacks: my LO would be an outlier in your study. She has been breastfed all of her nine months of life and we are currently still battling to get rid of ear infection number three (amoxicillin and cephdinir both failed so now she's on Bactrim). My kid seems to get an ear infection every time she cuts a tooth. Bleh.

She's 2 and no ear infections yet. She wasn't breastfed (for very long at least) but she's not in daycare.

@mamamoose: us too. P was exclusively BF to 12 months (now 3/4 bf at 13 m) and has had 3 infections before 12 months.
@mrsjacks: sorry to add another non conformer
I think my kids are super prone to them though. DS had 14 in 17 months til we did tubes. 1 since at 3.

None at 13 months. He goes to a small daycare 2 days a week and gets plenty of colds, but we've been lucky with ear infections so far.

None. However, if he starts tugging on his ear, I squirt bm in there, to fend it off just in case

He had 5 that were diagnosed, we suspect he had more, they just weren't bothering him enough to go to the ped. One at 5 months, 7 months, 8 months and 2 at 14 months after the 2nd one at 14 months, he was referred to an ENT and had tubes put in.

None yet at 20 months, knock on wood! I've never had one either, but my husband had many growing up. I'm a big believer that breastfeeding helped.

@lemondrop: I agree. She's two and has never had one. I believe breastfeeding until 18 months helped play a role. My husband had tubes so we were really grateful to not deal with any.
