My kids are my parents' only grandkids. It's nice because we get all the love and attention 
My in-laws have 4 total. Our 2 and DH's brother's 2. My inlaws are coming into town today and sent a tentative schedule of their plans. Kinda sucks that they have to split their time, but it's all good!

6 on DH's side and 4 on mine, but DH has 6 siblings and did have 3 so there will be double figures on both sides by the time we're all done

@Cherrybee: @Tidybee: I think the first born grandchild is definitely favored. My parents have a special place in their hearts for my DD. I think the in laws favor their first born grandchild too. They would never admit it, but just a feeling I have!

My parents have two grandkids and DH's mom just has one.
@chopsuey119: I was the first born on my mom's side and was very close to my grandmother. She passed away when I was 17 and I still think about her every day, I miss her so much!

DS is the first and only(so far) on my DH's side.
my mom has 2 grandsons(DS and my brothers son)
my dad has 5 grandkids(DS, my brothers son and my half sisters DS and DD and my stepbrothers son)

LO isthe first bio grandchild on both sides and is spoiled rotten by her grandparents!!
My in-laws divorced and remarried when my husband was a teenager and they have grandchild via the step-siblings they gained in their 2nd marriage; but all consider LO their first grandchild.

None on either side yet. Although I stopped at my parents' house this weekend and my mom announced she is graduating in may so now she's ready to be a grandmother. Apparently she was feeling she didn't have time to be the devoted grandma she wants to be until now, hahaha. They're all VERY eager for a first grandchild!

Our LO is the first on DH's side, second on mine. His sister plans on being childfree, and my sister can't have any more, so the grandparents are counting on us!

Our LO will be the first on both sides. I can't wait until we go to the doctor and see a heartbeat so we can share the news. They are all going to be ecstatic (especially the in laws). There will likely be tears!

LO is it on my DH's side, and we're pretty much the only hope. My BIL isn't exactly taking that path.
LO is the 3rd on my side. My older brother has 2 with another on the way! So excited to have a big, happy family on our side!
