Charlie has met all four of his grandparents, which makes us very very lucky.
He only has one great-grandparent thought (my mom's mom)... and due to distance and her poor health, I don't think he'll ever get a chance to meet her.

Our baby will have 3 grandparents and 2 great-grandmas. That's pretty good, all things considered.

our babies will have 4 grandparents and 1 great-grandmother (my hubby's grandma - although she's in korea, not sure if they'll ever meet, but maybe she'd be willing to since they'll be her first 2 great-grandkids - we may have to go to her...).
but it's sad because my babies won't have as many cousins as i did.

Assuming nothing bad happens in the near future, our children should have 5 grandparents (both my parents, both my husband's parents, and my husband's step-mother), and 6 great-grandparents (I have three grandparents and my husband has three grandparents)! Knock on wood that all 6 are still around by the time we have kids!

@tequiero21 - thanks! I think we're lucky because our grandparents had our parents young (20ish), and our parents had us mid-20s, so our grandparents are mostly only in their early 70s. I actually remember 3 of my great-grandparents too - they lived until I was in my teens, which is really good. I hope our grandparents are still alive when our kids are in their teens.

Micah has all 4 grandparents. She's the first grandchild on my side and the 3rd on my husband's side. Little girl is showered with so much love. She also has 2 great grandmoms and she's met both! 
They're still really healthy (at 90 and 92 yrs old) so we'll hopefully be able to see them again sometime soon.

Our future offspring will have 6 Grandparents and 6 Great-Grandparents!! My parents and my husband's Mom & Stepdad and Dad & Stepmom! Unfortunately, those grandparents are spread across the country, 2 in Texas, 2 in Michigan, 2 in Florida. The greats are spread out as well, 4 in Florida, 1 in Michigan and 1 in Texas.
Unless one of my siblings surprises us (neither are married) or we never get pregnant, ours will be the first grandbaby for everybody.

@MeaganCeleste - you totally just had to beat me, haha! Congratulations on so many sets of grandparents and great-grandparents for your children! That's exciting! Bummer they are so spread out! That's the good thing I have going for me - we all live in New England. The furthest away is only a 3.5 hour drive.

@Adira - Thanks! My husband's parents are divorced and remarried and one set of his grandparents is divorced and remarried, so more people to spoil our future kids! We already decided that during the summers we'll just send our kids around the country--a week Up North in Michigan, a week on the beach in Florida and a week on the farm in Texas!

Max has four grandparents and three great-grandparents. He's really lucky because most of them live close by, and the others come to visit often. Only one, his great-grandpa on my side, can't travel due to health issues, so Max made the trip to Korea to visit him in July.

Libby-Jane has 3 grandpas, 2 grandmas, and 1 great grandma! We're very blessed to have my grandmother still here and Libby-Jane is her pride and joy! She is the first grandbaby on both sides (but closely followed by my nephew who is 2.5 months younger on my husbands side).

both of our DDs have met their 3 grandpas and 2 grandmas.
our first DD met one great-grandpa (my DH's side) and one great-grandma (my side) as an infant. but they passed away before DD#2 was born and are very missed.

Our kids will have (knock wood) 2 grandparents (my mom and dad) and 3 (great-grandparents) my mom's mom & dad and my dad's mom.
Our son will be the first grand and great-grandchild! Unfortunately they're all back in the States, so we'll have to settle for visits and long-distance love.

Our child will have 5 grandparents (my husband's mother remarried).
As for great grandparents, our child will only have one and I don't think they will ever meet. My grandmother is old and lives in Asia. I've never met her either.

My LO has 3 great-grandma's, but he has only met two of them. One is in a nursing home and somewhat abusive, so we aren't comfortable taking him there. He also has all 4 of his grandparents because all of our parents are still alive. He hasn't met my dad, though, mostly because he's a loser. I say he's better off, though!

Our children will have three sets of grandparents; both of my parents are remarried. They'll have one set of great-grandparents whom I pray will be around for a long time.
@ Tequiero: I never really thought about cousins. Our kids will only have one first cousin and she is 15 now. It would be great if my brother-in-law would hurry up and settle down : )

Our daughter has all 4 grandparents and 2 great grandparents. She has met all of them already! She did have a great great grandmother (who she's named after) but she unfortunately passed away 1 week prior to a trip we had planned to meet her. She was 102 years old!

4 grands, 1 step grandma (grrrrr), and up to 6 great grands and 1 step great grandpa (not grr - he's nicer than the original husband.) Unfortunately, the best great-grand on my side has gone more or less insane (Alzheimer's - thinks he's in WWII) - I'm very sad that neither my husband nor my kids really get to meet him. And the great-grand who looked after me when I was little may be looney toons by the time I have kids.

Our daughter has way too many grandparents... There is my mom and dad, my dad's girlfriend,, DH's adoptive mom and step dad, as well as DH's adoptive dad and his wife. Then there are about 5 great grand parents and 2 great great grandparents (that she has met)

Oh man, this is something I have cried and cried about. Our kids will have all 4 grandparents (God willing nothing happens between now and then). On my side though, there will only be one great grandparent and health is declining. The part I have cried buckets over is my kids not meeting my other grandparents. They meant the world to me and I would give anything to have them back to meet my kids. Luckily, my husband still has all 4 grandparents that our kids will get to experience.

Our child will have 4 grandparents (our Moms and Dads - no divorces, so no step-grandparents) and 1 great-grandmother. My Gram lives in Cleveland and my cousin is getting married there in November 2012. I think that's when we'll go up and introduce our little one to her.

Well my LO is a very spoiled girl, you should see the ridiculous amount of presents at christmas! Both me and husband have step parents so she made out with 7 grandparents and 4 great grandparents.

The great-grandparents are getting pretty old, I hope our LO will get to meet them. It's a long way from Sweden to California and I'll be a while before we can travel after the baby is born.

Our future child(ren) will have two grandmothers, one grandfather.
As for great grandparents, it all depends on their health when the time comes. My grandmother is suffering from scleroderma and I think her time may come soon. My grandfather is still doing well though he had major heart surgery when I was about 10 or 11. His grandparents aren't in the best of health either, but are managing. I can only hope all four of them will be around when the time comes. I was lucky enough to grow up 22 years with my great grandmother on mom's side. She was a great woman.
