I was thinking the other day that I grew up (and my parents still live in!) the same house that I came home to after I was born. But, I don't think that will be the case for my LOs. I suspect we will live in at least one other house before the move out. So, how many houses have you grow up in? (I don't count after high school, not counting dorms I've lived in three houses since college!)

Just one, and my parents still live there today. We currently live in our forever home, and this will likely be LO's only home.

I think it is 5-6 depending on how you count-- my parents moved while I was in college and I did live in the new house albeit briefly. Most of the fluctuation happened before I was 6 though, we lived in one house from ages 6-12, moved to a better neighborhood and they lived there until I was 20 before moving one more time. I was mad when we moved when I was 12 but that was simply part of being 12

1 house, but two apartments in the same apartment building before I was 4, so really, I only remember and count the one house that parents still live in. My future LOs will only have one as far as I know. We are in our forever house already.

Four. We lived in a town house when I was a baby/ preschooler, then moved to my childhood home when I started kindergarten, then moved during my last year in high school. Lastly, now I live in my own home.

I lived in 4. Three were with my dad and the last with my mom.

2 before I moved out. We moved when I was 6. My parents still live in house #2 and they probably always will.

Not counting college years, 3. House I grew up in, apartment DH and I shared before we were married, and the house we bought after we were married.

6 through high school. My parents have moved three times since then. All moves, minus one, were for Dads job

I lived in 10 different houses/apt/duplexes from birth through high school. I lived in probably 10+ more places from high school till now, moving 4 times in the last 7 years with another move in ~ a year. Hopefully here soon we'll settle somewhere!

4. The last one moved us from Upstate NY to Charlotte when I was 16.
Before that, they were all in the same area.

When you said after high school that made a HUGE difference. I lived in one till university than I lived in 6 different places after that! I suspect we will move at least once more.

3 so far. The house I grew up in, then the house I moved to with my parents while I was in college, and now the house I share with my DH!

Not counting after high school (which would add four houses/apartments plus a dorm), at least four I believe but I'm not entirely sure. I'm still unclear on how many houses we lived in before we moved from Michigan but I believe it was at least two. Then, when we moved, we lived in an apartment for a few months and then moved into the house where my mom still lives (I was 4).

My parents also still live in the same house. After college I moved back there, then to a townhouse with dh, then we moved here. So 3.

2 houses prior to high school, 3 houses during college, 4 houses post college (3 of them we bought, 1 rental). We're hoping to stay here for awhile though!

I lived in the same house from birth until I moved out for college. Since then, I've lived in 7 houses, and we're moving again next week! I'm looking forward to being in our nex thouse for at least 3-5 years.

and the my current house that I boughtDH thinks it's crazy that I lived in so many houses (which really, I haven't moved that many times!), he (and his father) both lived in one house their entire lives!

First one when I was still little and my brother wasn't born yet. Second one was when I started school, and the third one was when I was in 4th/5th grade and is the current one my parents' live in.

Growing up I lived in 3. First one I don't remember at all as we left there before I was 2! Then one until I was about 7 and then my mom is still in the one I lived in from 7-21 years old.
DH and I have had an apartment then built our house... we will be here for a while, but not forever!

I've never lived in a house...but I've lived in 6 apartments, not counting college dorms.

I lived in five houses growing up, although the last one was for 10 years and my parents still live there. We are in our forever house so our LOs will only live in one hopefully!

I lived in 5 or 6 but I only remember 3. The two moves I remember were in 2nd and 3rd grade for me, and my parents are still in the last house.
Post-high school I have lived in 9 buildings (1 dorm, 2 houses, 6 apartments) and 4 cities, not counting summers back home. And we will have to move at least once more!
