I figured a poll was the best way to find this out. I'd love to hear what everyone on HelloBee plans to do!

We want AT LEAST 3, but we'd be open to a lot more, like 7. We plan on adopted as well as having biological children though.

We've always been pretty set on 3. We might go more than that, but we'll definitely have at least one more (we have 2 right now).

We already have two so the one we are working on will be number 3 and the last

2-3. I hated being pregnant and birth was honestly he'll on earth so only a couple kids. BUT I loved growing up with 5 brothers and sisters, so I feel bad lol but I also want the ability to fully meet each kids needs/wants more adequately especially financially.
But we would love to adopt too if we had the option.

At least 3, no more than 4. We both came from families of 2 kids, and we were both farther apart in age than our siblings. We'll probably start working on #2 late this year.

We've always thought 3. The whole bedrest thing calls that into question. If it happens again with #2, then we might just stick with 2 kids.

Probably 2. If we get a boy and a girl then definitely only 2. If we get two of the same gender we MAY try again for a 3rd... but our financial situation will have to improve. My parents paid a full four years for me at a private university and I intend to do the same for my children. With what we make at this moment I don't think we could swing it for 3 kids but that could always change.

I say I'd like three or four, though I'm not married to any particular number. I just don't see myself having one or two.
I grew up with four siblings and tons of cousins. The big family, noisy house, and wild complexity of a handful of children come more naturally to me than a quieter, intensely focused upbringing of one or two. I like big projects!

We'll see how the first one goes before deciding on any others! Ideally, I would like 3-4 but given my age and our finances I don't see that happening. Most likely we'll try for 2 close together so that if the desire for #3 comes around I will still have some time. I would not be open to fertility treatments though, so if it doesn't happen naturally I will just go with whatever I'm given.

Not having experience parenthood yet, we assume 3. DH would love more, but I think 3 is a good number. If I had 3 girls, I'd probably try for a boy/#4.

Right now, 3. If we have 3 boys or 3 girls, I think we will go for 4 (finances permitting).

@LAGS: yeah, before I had my son I thought I wanted 4-5 haha!

Not sure. Number one is on the way - depending on how things work out, we might have one more. If not, I'll be OK with just one

We want two, one boy and one girl, but if we double on the two, we'd try for a third. That's it though!

@marriedandlovingit: haha a friend of mine told me "we wanted three... until we had two. Now we're good with two"

We want two - preferably a boy and a girl, but we'll take what we can get.

Undecided. Depends on a variety of factors, specifically how this pregnancy goes in relation to my health (my mom was too sick to ever carry a healthy pregnancy again after me). If I don't want to be pregnant again, it depends on how likely we'd be interested in pursuing adoption.

We'd be happy with just the one we have now! But I could see myself getting antsy for a second in a few years.

2 and through for us!
But we're not tying any tubes just yet. We figure since we'll be finished relatively early (I'll be 31), if we find ourselves in our late 30s VERY rich and VERY bored we'll have a third. But the chances of both of those conditions happening (especially the bored one!) are very slim!

@Rachel: Ha! My husband's parents did want 3 children until they had him! His energy level wore them out!

We used to say 2 or 3 but after TTC for over a year I think I'd be happy with just one. Not sure I'd want to go through TTC with a baby/toddler.

Voted 3 but depends since we had to use fertility treatments. Not going that route against if it happens it happens. Otherwise we're happy with our 2.

We'd ideally like to have 3 or 4. It depends on how the rest of this pregnancy goes and how getting pregnant again goes for us. We experienced 2 early MCs before we got pregnant this time and it was really hard on us. It seems like we've figured out how to help my body sustain a pregnancy but if for some reason it doesn't hurt next time and there are more miscarriages in our future that number could change.

@Arden: We're right there with you on having both adopted an biological children.
I've always wanted to have 4 kids, but my age makes me think 3 is more likely!

We'd like 2-- hubs came from a family of 2 and I was an only child. I don't want just one and I don't want a middle kid. LOL.

@Mrs. Blue: Me thinks we might be a lot a like. Crossing my fingers for being due date twins with you... sometime in late February or early March?
