A good friend just had her third, and another good friend is pregnant with her third. I have friends in all different stages - 1, 2, 3 kids -- but in my circle it seems that a lot of people want/have more than 2 kids.
For us we are definitely 2 and done.

All my friends with children have two, are pregnant with #2, or with just 1 and planning on two. I have just one friend of mine who wants a third but not for a while.
I'm two and done but when I see smushy babies it makes me think I want a third but I'm quickly snapped back into reality when I'm up at 6am on a Saturday morning.

All of my friends who have 2 kids are pregnant with their 3rd! We're 2 and through!

I have several friends who are Quiverfull, so they'll never be done. 
One has seven kids and is pregnant with her eighth, another has just given birth to her seventh, and another just has one but she'll probably be pregnant again soon.
Among my non-QF friends, there's one family that just had their third (they want four), another that is about to give birth to their second (they want three).
We have one but want six. We'll be TTC in January.

0-3, mostly 1 or 2 so far since I am 25 so most of them only recently started having kids if they have them at all.

@skadi, that's fascinating, even thought I was raised in the church I have not heard of Quiverfull, I just read up on it, thanks for sharing.
Most of our friends/family have 1-2, but our main group of friends is late 20s to mid 30s, so there is plenty of time for more.

Most of our friends aren't quite Quiverfull level, but have like 4-6 children due to religious beliefs

Lots of folks at our church are Quiverfull so our friends range from having 1-11 depending on how long they've been married. Most of our close friends are working on #2 or 3 though as no one has been married more than 3-4 years. Family wise, no one has more than 2 kids and it would seem most are 2 and through.
We have two. I want a third but not sure we can swing it financially.

Most of my work friends are single and childless. At church? 3+ kids for most couples, with almost all SAHMs. Definitely makes for a bit of a culture shock Sunday - Monday, haha!

Most are 2 and done or 1 and pregnant/considering 1 more soon. I know a few friends who are 1 and done and a few who seem like they are child free but I haven't discussed it so I don't know for sure.

Its a really wide range! I have one close friend who is CFBC and another good friend who has 3 children. Most of our friends currently just have one child but I think most are hoping for a second.

@Boheme: Ok I'm curious about these types of people. They still believe it's ok to use birth control, but they just believe they should have larger families? I've usually heard one extreme or the other.

@Arden: They believe in the whole "expand the kingdom" school of thought, and believe you should have as many children as you can handle vs no birth control at all. They all use NFP.

Most everyone is in the "2 and done" camp. One of my friends at work wants 4. We want 3, maybe...maybe 4. And everyone thinks we're bonkers bananas

Most have 0-2. On my side, I don't have any friends planning on more than 2 children. A few of DH's friends have three already. I think it's that ways because my friends and I are on the older side an/or have a certain career focus.

Most of my friends have 2 right now and all seem to at least want 3-4 kids total. We have one and are not sure we want to have anymore (everyone thinks we are crazy).

@Skadi: reminds me of this van I saw a while back, sent it to a friend who is one of 10 children (Quiverfull family)
Our friends are all over the place. Most have 0-2 with some having 3. One friend wants 4-5 which is the highest # in our friend circle.

My friends that only have one child currently is because of infertility. Two of those are trying for more. One of those tried with IVF twice but it didn't work. Most others have 2 or 3 and I have a couple who are pregnant with their 4th.
We'd like 3.

My older siblings have 1,3,2,and 0 kids (last is childless by choice). I have lots of friends with no kids, although most are planning on 1-2 at some point. I have several cousins with 5-6 kids. Quite a range!
We want 2-3, probably 2.
