Two or three. I'd prefer just two but if the next is a girl we may try once more.

Two will be our max. Who knows we might be done with this one, unless we forget in a couple years these newborn days

Honestly, if we had a bigger extended family, we'd be one and done, but given that we don't, we want DD to have a sibling. So we'll be two and through!

I want 4, DH wants 2 - we will have 2 and then decide if we should go for a 3rd

I don't have any yet, but want 2. That seems manageable. Possibly one bio and one adopted.

Probably three. However DH wants four. But I would also love to adopt someday and if we could afford it I wouldn't mind up to six kids total. But I don't see that happening. But I might be open to a bigger family if the situation presented itself.

If our next LO is a girl, then we would be more than happy with one boy and one girl. I'm afraid that we'll have two boys and want to try for a third in hopes of having a little girl. My parents kept trying for a boy, and they ended up having 5 daughters!

We would like to have three. Ideally, it would be four, but considering we have family spread out across three continents, we need to factor in travel costs etc. Not sure there will be a huge savings by stopping with three but it just sounds more manageable to travel internationally with three kids than with four.

I come from a two child home and hubby comes from a 3 child home. I love the 'bigger' family atmosphere that he has. Most of the time it's just myself visiting my parents on holidays so it's kinda boring. So to answer the question I would like at least 3.

I'm pretty sure we'll be done after 2, especially off number 2 is a girl. If we have another boy, I may consider trying for a third but it would be several years from now.

I think probably 3, but DH would like 4. He's one of 7 (eek!!!) and I'm one of 4 so we both love the dynamic of a big family.

I want four. DH is leaning towards just three... let's just work on getting our first for now.

DH wants 5. That's ideal for him. I'd be more than happy to stop at 4. Like mooooore than enough for me! But, we shall see! Never say never, so I voted 5.

I want to have 3 (already have one) dh wants 2, but I think he'll be easily convinced to have a 3rd. The third will probably happen a few years later after number 2.

I REALLY, REALLY want to have at least one more, but I don't know if that will happen at this point given some mental health issues my husband is dealing with. If things get better, we both want a 2nd child. We always said we'd see about a 3rd (I always wanted 3-5), but I imagine we will run out of time (due to age).
I am so close to my sister, I can't imagine my LO not having a sibling. I am praying that somehow it will work out for her to have one.

@TurtleDoves: I voted 5 to for exactly the same reason, girlfriend!!
I'd like 4. DH would like 5 and I'm not completely against it so I voted 5.

One is plenty. I can only give 100% to so many things, and I want my own life as well!

@char54: We're in the same camp. I'm totally counting on the 3rd one, but DH says "how should I know if I want 3 if we haven't had one yet?!" Fair enough. Haha.

we both come from families of 3, so that's what we've always thought we'd settle on. we have one now and we'll see about the second in a couple years!

Two and through for us if we have one of each. Otherwise, we'd try for three, and that's definitely it for we!

@mediagirl: Haha, same here! One and done unless we win the lottery or magically make twice as much as we do now lol!

DH was adament that we have only 2. i said 3. we have a son and i'm currently pregnant with a girl, so we will be stopping at 2.

I would like 3 and DH wants 2. We agreed to discuss the third if we survive the first and second!!! So I voted 2 today......!!

We're planning one more bio kid & then adopting. Honestly, I'd be okay with just adopting the next, but Dan really wants to try for a bio son.
pomegranate / 3516 posts
We're pretty sure we'll just stop with two. We thought about stopping at one but I think we both would like one more.
pomelo / 5469 posts
I voted 2, but if our next LO is a another girl, we'll most likely try for a 3rd to get our little guy!
papaya / 10473 posts
Probably 2, but I'm leaving myself open to 3 if its what DH wants. He is an only child and has always hated it, so his feelings are the more, the merrier!
GOLD / pomelo / 5737 posts
2! We'd be happy just the 3 of us at 1 child...but we want her to have a sibling, so 2 it is.
cantaloupe / 6800 posts
Two! DH is open to 3, but DH isn't the one carrying those babies so mama-vote wins!
