I don't cloth diaper, but just in terms of sizing, C was in newborn for at least a month, but I think that's a little unusual. I'd buy one pack of each, like the 96 count or whatever, and then reevaluate. In the really early days we were going through like 10 diapers a day at least (but we also had some user error, peeing on the changing table, etc!).

We used newborn diapers for the first month. We had to get more than what we had because we assumed he wouldn't be in them long (he was almost 9 lbs at birth, but fairly short). He's 4 months old today and still in size 1s, but we're probably going to be moving to size 2 soon.

We didn't use NB at all. They had size ones in the hospital and that is what we started with. We have gone through probably 500 size ones so far.

We skipped newborns after the ones the hospital provided didn't fit. I'd get one big box of ones, see how big your baby is and then get what you need.

We used NB for probably 4-5 weeks. At that point we moved to size 1s and that's also when she fit into BG 4.0s (smallest rise/snaps). At almost 4.5 months were just switching over to size 2s (and we gave up CDing, oops).

Not much advice but get a big pack of each, that way you're prepared, and worst case you can return the NB for 1s!

We only used the NB that the hospital sent home with us. Then we used 1s for about 6 weeks (maybe 4 big boxes?) and went to 2s.

We used a box of 128 newborn pampers and half a box of Huggies (not sure how many) before switching to cloth at one month. My son was 8lbs at birth and is now 9 lb 5 oz. We have a small pack of size 1's for travel and have used a few of those too.

We went through 400 NB, 500 size 1s and 650 size 2 diapers. I'm a bit wonky about recording everything. She was 7,1 at birth.

It will depend on the size and shape of your baby (we actually ended up using 2 big boxes of NB size even though my baby was 9lb3oz and she was in size 1 for about 2 months after that.
