We went on a trip last month, and the couch at the place where we stayed was so huge! Two adults could comfortable relax on there, even if they were lying down. Meanwhile back at our apartment, there's pretty much only room for one adult and one child.
We really want a larger couch now... right now when one person is relaxing, the other person has to sit at the kitchen table! Just not the same...
How many people can comfortably relax on your couch?

We have a sectional in the family room that comfortably fits 4-5 lounging or 6-7 sitting. We have a couch in the game room that fits two adults and maybe a kid with them comfortably

We have a giant sectional that can fit 6-7 sitting and 3 lounging.

We have a sectional with an extra large corner piece. Six or seven adults could comfortably relax on it without touching. If people really like each other maybe 8 or 9.

We have an L-shaped sectional with chaise lounge on one end and a matching ottoman. So 5-6 adults can sit, 4 can lounge.

In our playroom, we have couches with motorized recline, so a total of 4 adults could lounge at the same time.

6 sitting, 4 lounging. We have a huge ottoman too. I have my pump and T's Boppy newborn lounger set up on it. She already has a little spot

two can sit, one can lay down. We can't wait to move and have all our furniture back (half is in storage from staging) so we can be comfortable again! (and maybe even buy a sectional)

None. Our couch sucks - it's not comfortable at all.
But two adults can sit, or one adult can lay down. I guess 3 adults could technically sit if they didn't mind touching each other. With me, DH, and the dog sitting on the couch, it feels really crowded. Can't wait to move to a bigger place so we can fit a sectional.

We have a sectional that comfortably fits two adults laying down and a dog. Our toddler can join but she's so wiggly that it's not relaxing

Five comfortably without being crowded. We had four adults, a pre-schooler, an infant, and three large dogs on here comfortably, though it was cozy.

Zero! Our couch sucks too. 3 people can sit on it (or 2 people & the dog), but it's very uncomfortable. We want a new one, one of these days.

We have a large sectional so both DH (6 foot 3) and I (5 foot 3) can lay down, fully stretched out which is amazing for movie nights! It's 7 cushions total.

Current on sits 3, so I guess 1 the way you're defining "relax?" We had a huge sectional before, and it sat 7+. But it would take up literally the entire living room now!

We have a couch and a loveseat, combined can fit 5 sitting or two adults laying on each.

1...sorta? We have a very small space so we just have a loveseat. Hubs usually sits up with his feet on an ottoman and I lean against him with my feet hanging off the edge. That will be one of the first things we purchase if we ever move

We have a leather couch, loveseat and chair in the basement... 3 adults can sit on the couch, 2 on the loveseat and 1 on the chair, but for lounging purposes they really only fit 1 person each. We have another couch/loveseat/chair set upstairs, too. I really want to upgrade to a sectional when we buy our next set!
