I am putting together a guest list for LO's birthday. I want to invite many of our friends, but just family is equal to about 50 people!! ahhhh. I planned on capping it around 50. MOST of them will come as well. The room we're renting seats 39 and I plan to rent the adjoining room which allows for 40 more but I want part of the space for activities/food/etc.
How many people did you invite? Just family? Friends? Who all came out of who was invited?

We aimed for 50 but it was a little over 100. Family, friends, coworkers. Our wedding 2 years before so it was hard to cut people out. Almost everyone came, maybe 5-10 families either rsvp'd they couldn't make it or cancelled last minute.

I wanted it to be small small like just grandparents and lo's aunts and uncles but dh wanted more, so we compromised and also had our aunts and uncles and close friends. I think it ended up being about 25 people, maybe a little more.

@808love: oh wow!!! well our space definitely will not hold that many people but I totally could easily invite that many
