I'm definitely down to the fingers on one hand... although I've actually met a number of people on Hellobee that I trust a surprising amount!
How many people do you trust?

As in friends only or family too? Friends only...sadly not enough, maybe a handful.

I'm a very trusting person, so a lot! Definitely more than one hand, maybe more than two!

I have at least 3 friends who I would trust wholeheartedly with anything, including my future LO(s), no questions asked. There are a good number more who I trust to have my best interests at heart, but maybe I just don't know them as well. I think I'm a pretty trusting person, generally.

A lot then, I suppose. Not counting family I can think of 12 people off the top of my head. I don't talk to all of them regularly because a lot are not local, but they're at least the sort of friends I check in with a few times/year and I'd call at 3am to pick me up if my car broke down or bail me out of jail (falsely accused, I'm sure lol) if I was in their city. Locally, 3. (Not counting spouses, who almost without exception I trust as much as the friend).

I think a lot unless I'm totally misunderstanding the level of trust you're referring to? I'm thinking like, assuming that they'll follow through on something they say they're going to do, not wreck your stuff and are generally responsible people? Definitely in double digits.

@Mae: Ha, exactly! To follow through on what they say? To call in the middle of the night? Keep a REAL secret? The number drops from a dozen +, to a handful, to maybe two or three, and that's counting family and DH. I'm rather guarded when it comes to trusting/relying on other folks, and not quick to jump back to the same level of trust if there's a breech.

Between family & friends, I am in double digits. I have a great family base (both mine and DHs) plus I have amazing friends who I know I can trust with anything.

Maybe 4? I'm not very quick to trust people and once broken I never trust the same person again.

Oh jeez. I am an uber-trusting person, to a fault, so I can't possibly count all the people I trust. Is that bad? My entire circle of close friends (20? I dunno) plus all my family members. Oh my ILs. I don't trust them as far as I can throw them... they taught me the art of not trusting people

With some of my most personal stuff? SIL.
With some secrets not as personal? My parents, my close friends.
