Almost no one. I don't even tell my husband sometimes since we're on opposite ends of the political spectrum and we're good at "agreeing to disagree" and don't like to put each other on the spot. We joke that we're just cancelling each other out anyways.

I talk politics. If someone asks I will tell and I think most friends can tell based on stuff I post.

I'm pretty private because personally I hate to argue/debate and no good ever comes of it. A family member found out I'm leaning dem for this election and went off on me at Christmas. It's just not worth it.

If I see someone post about a candidate I like on FB, I might chime in with support. Otherwise, this topic doesn't really come up much IRL. I'm pretty sure our friends know who I'm voting for, but it's not because I've talked about it ... it's just the most obvious choice.

If someone asks I share, but I don't like discussing why a candidate is my choice. IRL I'd rather not discuss politics.

Pretty much everyone in my life knows I am a solid Democrat, but right now I'm not clearly supporting Hillary or Sanders bc I haven't decided.

However, I have been a social studies teacher for 6 years and every year my students ask me, and so I am very happy I have been balanced enough that they don't know! They get frustrated when I won't tell them and I usually end up saying,"If you pay attention closely, you can probably figure it out," and then a couple of the smarter ones will get this look on their face and smile and not say anything.

I don't generally bring up politics but am happy to discuss if someone prompts me. However - there are a few people in my circle who can't understand that we are each entitled to our own opinion - so it's an off limits topic with them...

All that said - I'm not afraid to say who I vote for and usually do so openly so most people know...

I have a Bernie bumper sticker on my car, so anyone who drives behind me can probably guess.
I'm pretty open about my politics, but it's easy to do since I live in an area where most people are as liberal as I am. I don't talk politics if I know the person disagrees with me on social issues. I dont mind talking/debating with people who are more fiscally moderate than I am. But with social issues it's a recipe for disaster, and nobody is going to change their mind. I don't really have anyone in my life who is socially conservative, though.

DH knows and I don't lie if someone in my family directly asks me. I'm a lone Democrat in a family chock full of Republicans, so it never becomes a productive conversation. If no one asks then I never say anything. It's not like they don't know, but I purposefully never bring it up or interject into their political discussions. I've been ganged up on pretty badly before.

I don't avoid talking politics, they're important. But it's not one of my go to conversations. I've been surprised at how little it's come up with the primaries approaching. I think everyone I knew who I was voting for in the last several presidential elections. Otherwise I usually talk issues so most people can usually guess.
