I have no clue what the norm is. It's been awhile since we bought new sheets and I feel like we should, but I also have been trying to cut down on unnecessary spending.

We only have/need two but my mom and MIL have more than I can count, so I'm thinking we're below average

We have 3 that we use. I should really throw the other ones out because they are uncomfortable... but I keep thinking maybe we would want to use it as a drop cloth or something.

Just one.
Sucks when we forget them in the washer and it's bedtime.

I use 3, one for the foam, then there's a second cover and the third one. I know two is enough while other only use one. I only find use 3 sheet more comfortable than using only one or two. It also depends on the kind of bed sheets and foam you have on your beds.

5, but I'm not a fan of 2 of them, but we end up using them because we suck at doing laundry. What's crazy is we have separate sheets/blankets (I have my own, DH has his own) so it's technically 10 pairs.

2. Although we had to pull sheets off the guest bed a few weeks ago bc one set was in the hamper and LO spit up over the clean set. Maybe we need 3.

We have 3 sets but rotate between 2 of them. The 3rd is plain white that I use for taking pictures but it's always clean & washed if I need it.

We have 2 but I only love 1 - so every Saturday I wash them and put them same ones back on the bed!

We bought a king bed last Feb and only had one pair until like November. We have two now but I'd like to get one more.

1! I wash and put them back on in the same day. I have several back up sheets but the ones we have on the bed are nicer.

Only 1! and DS only had one sheet until we started him in daycare and had to buy extra's. No room to store multiple sets and I figure when it gets old and gross we'll just replace it!

4! we really only use 2 though. they get used for our air mattress and futon also.

1 flannel, 2 regular, 1 set for the "guest bed" (aka air mattress) that we could use if for some reason we had to.

Ours is a Cal King Tempurpedic and they have special sheets to accommodate the depth of the mattress, so of course they're expensive. We always wash the sheets and immediately put them back on, but seriously need a back-up set, haha!

We just switched to a king size bed, but before that we had a queen, our guest bed was a queen, and our air mattress was a queen... so we have 6ish sets of queen sheets. We only had one set of king but I just bought a fitted from ikea so that makes two. I just bought the fitted sheet because we don't use flat sheets (we use duvets) and we have plenty of pillowcases from the 6 sets of queen sheets!

5. 3 regular and 2 flannel. I like to be able to put a new set on right as I strip the bed so I don't have to wait for the laundry and end up doing it right before bed. We have 2 duvets and sham sets for the same reason.

Just one... we should probably get another one in rotation

I think like 4-5 sets, but I really only use 2, and of those needs to be tossed. I think I'm going to start looking for another set soon!

Just one so if the hubby forgets to dry it, we pull out the flat sheet to sleep on while the fitted sheet dries.
We should really buy another one as often as I wash our current one. Not sure it'll survive 2014 with all the pee and spit up DS puts on it. LOL

We only have one that we use on our bed, but I think we have a couple of spare sets in the closet that would fit on our bed in an emergency. They just wouldn't go with the duvet and room decor.

3 sets and we just bought a new king bed 2 weeks ago. I got some good and inexpensive sheets on Amazon and picked up a flannel sheet set at Target for $12! Score!
We had about 5-6 sets for our queen bed because I would buy comforter sets that came with sheets. Now, I just buy the comforter when we need a new one.
