Hellobee Boards

at 2 years 3 months, RJ has the following:

1 pair new balance sneakers (his everyday shoes)
1 pair corduroy Toms (his sunday shoes)
1 pair fake uggs (only worn a handful of times)
1 pair LL bean snow boots (hand me downs)
1 pair rain boots (hand me downs)
2 pairs crocs (waiting to see if they'll still fit him for this summer!)

sometimes it seems too many to count... especially now that we are in between seasons. the ones we use the most are sneakers, ugg boots, crocs... The rest are hand-me downs I have yet to sort through. I'm so annoyed though that we got her very good snow boots but used them once this winter.

LO currently has two. One pair of Robeez that he will be growing out of soon and one pair of Toms, that are a little too big for him. I thought about buying a pair of Crocs for the summer but just haven't pulled the trigger yet. He can't walk and most of the time I put him in socks to go places...

5 pairs currently but that is counting snow boots that she only wore once. If you count some spring/summer shoes I just bought her then that is an additional 4 pairs. That's more shoes than in my rotation!

@NYCaliMama: i think a lot of parents must be mad about snow boots this winter!

@NYCaliMama: figures!! after last year we bought a snow blower so DH wouldn't have to practically break his back shoveling snow and then look what happened. oh well!! it's just like how it doesn't rain if you have an umbrella but it always does when you forget it.

My LO hasn't arrived yet, but she has 8+ pairs of shoes and boots people have purchased for her.

OMG I just went home and counted all of his shoes. He has 12 pairs. And I personally only bought him 2 of those 12. What's unfortunate is that he's going to outgrow all of them soon. Sigh. What a waste of perfectly good shoes.

Wow!

For the past few months that she has been walking she primarily has 3 pairs:

- Robeez: soft soled and easy to just slip on.
- Stride Rite - Tennis shoes with hard sole
- See Kai Run - kind of in between and a bit larger.

However, we just bought her a bunch new ones the next size up, I think I went overboard.
- Pink plaid sperry's
- silver ballet flats
- Another pair of See Kai Run
- Another larger pair of Robeez
- Some fuzzy sheepskin boots
- White stride rite leather mary janes (these will be for special occasions)
- Purple Coco mary janes
