When people ask, I say 5 because I consider my half sister & brother to be the same as my other 3 sisters. (only took my dad 5 girls and 20+ years to get his boy )

@autumnlove: Yay, it's so fun! I also felt so spoiled because I had a sister AND a brother. I love my relationship with my sis but am so grateful for my brother- he just connects the whole family.

So we're pregnant with our first (and we don't know the sex yet)... My mom is the oldest of three as well- two girls a year and a half apart followed by a boy 3ish years later. My mom (who has great relationships with her siblings too) had all of us- two girls and a boy with almost the same spacing! Now, as the oldest girl I want to carry on the tradition! Nothing like putting the pressure on yourself!

I have 5 siblings (the youngest 3 are technically half siblings. 2 brothers and 3 sisters. I am the oldest! I also have an ex-stepsister (my dad and her mom got divorced several years ago, we keep in touch but were never super close since they lived out of state).
