I remember getting one really bad sunburn... mostly though, I just practiced the piano and violin inside.
How many sunburns did you get growing up?

Oh man too many to count once I was older, especially when I was a lifeguard. I was an outdoor kid/pool rat and was there from open to close so no matter how much my parents warned me about putting sunblock on I usually just ignored them! Luckily I don't burn too easily.

I grew up ( and still live) in Florida. I also have the palest skin ever. If I don't reapply SPF 30 every half hour in the summer, I get lobster red. Needless to say, I've been seriously burnt multiple times over the years. I spend most of the summer at least a little burnt. It's just part of life for me. We've been praying that our son will end up with my husband's nice dark skin because it's really hard being as pale as I am where we live.

Too many to count, as well! I would normally get one bad burn a summer and then tan over it. I peeled like a maniac for the month of June but after that, all was good. We spent our summers at the pool or beach so, we were always in the sun.

I don't remember getting any and I lived in Hawaii and got tons of sun exposure. My parents never gave me SPF so that is not so good though.

I didn't have too many sunburns as a kid but in my early 20s I had quite a few. I always forgot to re-apply my sunscreen and would end up with a burn. I'm much more diligent about it now, I found out my grandpa had skin cancer and I don't want that!

*GROSS ALERT*
I had one terrible sunburn when I was in high school. It was during a weekend of dragonboat competition and I had my hair sectioned off into two braids, down the middle. My scalp (and shoulders/neck/back) burned so badly that it peeled for days and in large chunks...This is where my typophobia began. As the large pieces of scalp peeled off, the holes of each individual strand of hair/follicle showed and I kept screaming and crying every time a piece peeled.
Since then I stay out of the sun.

I don't think I've ever had a bad sunburn.
I did go to the beach once and sat in the sun without a hat for a while. The skin on my scalp peeled and it was pretty nasty

Not too many, most were due to tennis matches in middle school.

Too many=( the worst was on my back/shoulders, it was so bad it blistered. Hoping our LOs benefit from DH's much darker complextion & don't have to suffer from them like I did

I got at least one sunburn a summer. Im fair skinned so it only takes a few minutes for me to get burned.

I'm fair-ish skinned, but I tan really easily. I usually get one sunburn at the beginning of the summer and then I just get tan after that.
I grew up at the beach, but I don't remember any horrific sunburns.

two major ones that I remember - and both were my teen years. I was obviously SO much smarter than my mom so I knew I would NEVER burn!

I had two bad burns that I remember, but for the most part me and my extremely fair/sensitive skin stay out of the sun! My mom had skin cancer so that's motivation enough!

I have very weird skin that doesn't really burn or tan. I can tan if I try really, really hard, so I think I can burn if I really tried to. I always joke with my parents that my skin is a mix of theirs since my mom tans very easily and will never burn while my dad burns easily but wont tan.

A lot. I live in Florida so we spent a lot of time on the beach and outside in general.

Ive only had two that I remember, only one of thembpeeled a little the other was just a bit red for a couple hours. I generally just tan since I am native american and have naturally tan skin to start with.
