Charlie developed a shampoo phobia and for a while, we weren't washing his hair very often at all. But then it got really hot and he was sweating a lot, and now we try and wash it a lot more often. Ideally we'd do it every day during the summer.
Olive's hair needs more regular shampoos, but it's not a problem since she doesn't really seem to mind.
How many times a week do you shampoo your LO's hair?

Usually twice a week. He doesn't really need it much more often yet, unless he gets particularly messy/sweaty.

I just wash it every day b/c then I don't have to keep track. Anyways, DD is always getting food and milk in her hair, so I think her hair is pretty gross by the end of the day. Maybe we'll shampoo less once she stops sticking her dirty hands all over her head.

1-3 times per week. She doesn't have a lot of hair, and what she does have is pretty fine. It doesn't get very dirty so I don't feel the need to wash it often.

We go every other day unless we had a particularly messy dinner. She loves to smear her food on her head.

3-4 times a week. I don't wash my hair everyday, so I don't want to wash his everyday and dry it out.

1-3 depending on how dirty she gets. I dont wash her hair every day because I don't want to dry it out. She is going to have thick, coarse hair like me, I can already tell.

Every other day. We bathe every day, but only use soap every other. It's really helped with her dry skin.

@Weagle: Same here! He seems to put his hand in his mouth when there's a ton of food in there and then rubs it all over his hair! So gross!
Because of the above, we wash his hair every day!
