Once, just before I turned 3. They had been renting an apartment and then built the house they still live in today. We did stay with relatives for a couple weeks between when the apartment lease was up and the house was ready for occupancy, but I don't count that.

Twice when I was under 18. Then they moved halfway across the country when I was in college.

Um, 8. One I was too young to remember the move (but I remember the first house) and then two different times we moved from one apartment to another in the same complex. The first time was to a smaller/cheaper apartment and the second time (in a new complex) was to the same model apartment due to plumbing issues in the original apartment. One move (#2) was from Cali to AZ, so that was definitely the biggest.

5 if you don't include moving from one house to another on the same property. We did all our moving before I started kindergarten.

Between the ages of 4 - 15:
Taiwan -> New Jersey -> Miami -> New Jersey -> Chicago -> Ohio -> Chicago suburbs
I hated it each time I had to move, but always made good friends everywhere I went so ultimately, I had more friends this way! In middle thru high school, I would write letters to at least 12 - 15 different people! Checking the mail was fun!

I kept thinking about this and recounting and I think I have it right now. 21 moves before 18.
NC >> New House >> FL >> New House >> New House >> TN >> New House >> FL >> TN >> CA >> TN >> FL >> MI >> FL >> Albania >> New house >> WA >> New house >> FL >> Albania >> New House >> FL and then I turned 18.

We moved when I was 1 and my parents are still in the same house. I loved growing up in the same home my whole life and being able to still go back there. Lots of memories.

Twice before 18--6 months and 7 years, but then they moved again to the current house when I was 19 so it feels like 3. All within in the same greater metro city area though.

7 with my mom, 5 of them were with both parents before they divorced, and then I also moved into my grandparent's house, so an 8th move, at the end of high school, before packing up and moving again for college. I had also changed schools and districts 6x by freshman year of high school.

Nearly every year from the age of 10. Including 3 countries. But as horrible as it sounds it meant I could adapt to any situation and surrounding fairly easily. It's crazy they did that though. Times have changed so much now, we would never do that to our kids now !

6 times!
The hardest was moving the summer in between middle school and high school and then high school to college. (Different states). It sucked not being able to spend those "transitional" summers with friends.

Zero. My parents have lived in the same house for 35 years. Lots of memories, some good and some bad.

None as a kid. They sold our house in NY and moved to Texas a few years ago though. And since college I have moved 15 times!

Once, when I was about 3. We moved from the 5 flat my grandma owned to a two flat with my grandma. My parents still live there today with my Oma and siblings.

I remember 8 moves, but I'm pretty sure there were more. I attended almost every school in our county. We finally settled when I was in middle school.

About 12 times. I've always been able to make friends very easily but had a tough time learning to form and value long-term attachments.

7 times, each time they sold for profit and moved up, of that 7 times there were 3 states (Oregon to Washington, Washington to Oregon, Oregon to Alaska, and back to Oregon). My how times have changed, it's sad. I think they hopefully just finished their last move out today (still need to move in to the new place). That was a huge deal, they'd been there for 17 years, filled 3 54' semi containers, 2 vehicles, and my garage
