I never thought about this until recently, but Charlie's name has 7 unique letters. He writes his name on his classwork several times a day, so he's gotten really good at writing C-H-A-R-L-I-E in both upper and lower case. This has really helped him learn to read and write ~27% of the alphabet!
Olive's name has 5 letters, and sure enough O was the first letter she was able to recognize.

Only 3 unique letters in a 6 letter name - each appears twice. It's one of the things I loved most about the name.
Maybe it will make it easier for him to learn to write his name, but we'll have to work on the rest of the letters. All of that is a long way off - he's only 4 months

@.twist.: Oh just like, if Olive's name was Olivia, the "i" letter would be used twice so she'd only have five unique letters in her name even though her name would have six letters overall.
