I know that I'm supposed to stay in a reasonable range of caffeine, like under 200-300mg a day. But how do you know for sure when it comes to things like restaurant iced tea?
Every morning, I drink this instant mocha coffee that does not give the caffeine amount. It's an Asian instant coffee that DH brought back from being overseas and I got so addicted to it that I order it on Amazon. I can't find the caffeine online, and everything on the bag is written in an Asian language:) But I read a list that estimates that instant coffee only has like 60mg of caffeine.
Then I typically have an iced tea at lunch every day. I'm in sales, and I typically eat out with an account at a restaurant on most days. I have no idea how to estimate the caffeine in restaurant iced tea, and also they refill it and I lose track of it. I just try to only have no more than 2 glasses of restaurant tea.
Sometimes, on day like today where it's dreary and I'm tired but don't want to nap because I have too much crap to do, I want to have one of my precious Asian instant coffees in the late afternoon. Which may be another 60mg.
Am I drinking too much caffeine? I'm 16w today, if that makes any difference at all... I never drink soft drinks, it's just my instant coffee and 2-3 glasses of iced tea every day.
Any thoughts?
