I haven't a clue what to do for favors!

I don't remember if you use jar baby food or not but if you do then maybe you could reuse those jars? I came into a whole bunch of 4 oz and 1.5 oz jars so I plan on using them. Maybe I could use the mini jars for favors instead of serving pudding.... hmmm

@regberadaisy: what is your dessert that you want to package? If you don't like cellophane you could do glassine bags. I think you can buy a lot of those for a good price, and then seal them with a cute washi tape or string?

I won't do many, but if anything I am thinking of filling baby food jars (which I am going to start saving) with the lids painted. I will probably try to get pink v-day m&ms and hershey kisses on clearance to use.

I had the same issue! I found these adorable owl magnets on etsy but it would have been like $100 just for favors.

I decided I'm making my own. I drew my own illustrations for decor, I'm going to make bookmarks with them. The only cost will be paper and ink to print them.

@Mrs. Pen: for my college graduation party I created DIY magnets in the shape of graduation caps w/ tassles.

@caffeinated: yeah, the mom said the party decor was definitely her aesthetic. So gorgeous though!

I've seen some reajlly cute print paper bags on Etsy. Maybe fill them with cookies.

We didn't do favors for any of the adults...instead we splurged on cupcakes from our favorite bakery that did our wedding cake and got Mylar balloons for all of the kids...I had read on some blog that kids go crazy for balloons. I don't have a photo of the balloons but we just had them all in a corner of the house and as kids left they got to take a balloon. We had a ton of cupcakes so we sent them home with people too

We did a candy bar with pink and purple candy (sixlets, rock candy, lollipops, m&m's, Hershey/Dove chocolates and sweetarts gummy hearts). So the kids could fill their own bags before they left.
