@PurplePumps: on 100 mg my O date was the same both months (cd 15). On 50 mg (for 3 cycles) my O date varied from cd 17-19, but I think that's because it wasn't a high enough dose to make a difference... that's when I normally O anyway. On Femara my O date was cd 13.

I didn't use opks, but my cycles on clomid were very consistant, so I assume that I ovulated the same day on each.

I did 4 unmonitored clomid cycles to get LO #1 (was just about to start cycles at the RE when I got my sticky baby). the first 3 cycles were on 50mg and the last was on 100mg.

my O dates were CD14, CD17, CD15, CD18 (thank you fertility friend for keeping that data!) so 4 days variance was normal for me. they told me it can push O later . . . no idea what normal was for me since I wasn't ovulating much at all before clomid. I always took clomid CD3-7.

post-LO where I am more regular I now ovulate CD16-20 so I still have that variance.

@PurplePumps: because I had 2 chemicals on 50mg so something was off - this was a NP so no monitoring but old RE made the same call for the next cycle I never got to. We're working on #2 now and I'm doing clomid again because I had another chemical (but did get a bfp on my own even if it didn't stick). Current RE told me 100mg would be crazy multiples risk for me unless ultrasound shows I am not responding. But don't know what we will do if I have another chemical on clomid.

I should add my chemical pregnancies are unexplained despite every test under the sun. But, bottom line monitoring is a good idea before trying 100mg so you know what you are risking.

@PurplePumps: I had 7 cycles of 50mg Clomid (3 unmonitored, 1 timed intercourse + monitored, 3 IUIs + monitored), and I O range was pretty wide: if I remember correctly, I think it was anywhere from CD15-24. Hope you get your surge soon!
