We are looking at switching to a convertible carseat, but there is such a wide range of prices!

We're not there yet but @banana: I think that's the one we're gonna go with. Do you like it?
In a few months I'll start keeping an eye out for sales and such!

@regberadaisy: Yes, I love it. Well, my LO loves it so that's what's important I guess. He seems really comfortable in it. It's a little big and bulky though. So not sure if it would fit well in some compact cars. But the bulkiness is what makes it comfortable i think (extra padding). We were originally gonna go with the Boulevard but I heard some kids don't like the "wings" that stick out near the head because they can't see out the window as well. So we went with the Marathon. I would definitely buy another Britax in the future.

@banana: it's the same one my brother has so we've had experience with it unbuckling/buckling! And I do love how padded it is.
We have a SUV so size is no problemo!
Thanks!

We were gifted 2 of the Safety 1st Air 65's at my baby shower. I believe they go for around $175.

We have a Recaro. I bought it off one of the discount sites (AlbeeBaby I think) with a coupon and it ended up being a little over $200, I think.

We have a Britax Boulevard that we paid around $250 for (I had to have the cowmooflage print, even though others were less expensive) and a Cosco Scenera that we use for travel (air and car) for $30.
You can get a perfectly safe seat for around $100, another option is a Graco MyRide...parents who have that seat love it!

Just over 200 on the boulevard. We got it over the marathon for the extra safety of the head wings. We are looking to get a second for our other car and will probably get something cheaper

A little under $500 for two Britax Advocates (on sale on Amazon with a coupon). It's huge, and heavy, so we had to buy one for each car.
