Ours is $140/ month and we get NO channels. I want to cancel but haven't gotten around to it yet.
We lived without cable for years and never missed it but got it when I went on mat leave for DD1. Now on mat leave #2 and there's no time for sitting and watching tv anymore. It's such a waste.

Way too much! Close to $200, actually (wifi is $60 of that). Still negotiating with DH about how to get rid of cable AND keep access to some channels that are important to him.

We pay 100/month for dish - has everything except HBO, and 50/month for Internet (was AT&T u til they got bought out by Frontier)

We just downgraded our Uverse package and it's $160/month. We have some fancy sports channels.

83 dollars and change/month for cable and internet. We have a phone line that we don't use, but it's free through ooma.

@78h2o: We were paying $170 and DH just went in to get a new receiver and they lowered our bill to $140. We get more channels now (HBO, Cinamax, etc) and a phone line. Which we don't use.

We pay 93 for direct tv and 30 for Comcast internet. I could totally live without tv at all.

$118 with Verizon Fios. We have lots of channels, plus HBO and Football Network, and the mid-tier internet, which is super fast (my husband games). The package came with a phone line, but don't use it. We signed up for a two year contract, and only paid $89 for the first year. We also got a $200 Visa gift card for signing up.

$58 just for internet, ugh. We have Time Warner, and dislike them, but there aren't other options for us right now. No cable for us.

$38 for Dish, 250 ish channels. $54 Internet.

Our is $195 We have comcast and have a bunch of channels (HBO and a ton of HD channels), a dvr, two boxes, and high speed internet.

We pay $66 for internet and basic cable (1 box, no DVR, no ESPN, nothing fancy) from Comcast. I expect it to go up every time I open my bill We have a digital antenna (Mohu Leaf ) for our other tv.

We pay $50 for internet and $16 for basic cable. We used to pay $60 for cable tv and $20 for box rental and DVR, but I just cancelled all those channels 2 months ago, and used a old computer to turn into a media PC to record my shows.

@Pancakes: Yea we definitely need to buy our own. I had one but it was so old and finally died on us. So for the mean time we just rented one until we could research and find a good deal.

We pay $50 for internet, plus $8 for Hulu plus and $8 for Netflix

Directv is right around $100, and we pay $50 for internet with Time Warner. Too much!

@78h2o: Its the only way you can see ABC shows online now (which is the main reason we pay for it) and there are some other shows too that you can see more episodes of than you could with just regular hulu. I would suggest just using Hulu first and then if you discover that you are running into the "aw man, thats just for plus users" you can upgrade. We just used regular Hulu until ABC blocked their online programming...the majority of network tv that I watch is ABC.

About $150. Too much.

We pay around $190 for our cable and internet, then another $7.99 for Netflix.
