25-35. Practically all my friends have kids, most more than one, and have a party for them all every year... I feel like I'd be broke if I spent any more.

I used to spend $50+ until we started having kids and then had birthday parties all the time. Then it wasn't economical to be spending so much on each child so I probably spend around $30-ish now, especially when they celebrate every year.

Maybe $25-$50 total. But whenever we get duplicate gifts for the kids, I put one away and regift it to their friends. So it's only been a few times I've had buy anything more than a card!

Yeah, I used to spend $50 and now it's closer to $30. There are just so many kids now and honestly I find that when it comes to toys you can get a lot for $30!

Wow, I feel cheap! $20. But I'm a big sale shopper, so I feel like I get a lot for my money. I just spent $20 on a first birthday present this weekend but originally before the sale prices it would have been $40.

Sadly I don't have any friends with kids, but I would be comfortable spending about $30. I recently spent about $60 on my niece for her first birthday, and I wanted to spend more. My sister doesn't like a lot of toys so I tried to limit the number of stuff I bought.

I spend $20 if they are not related to me. Now, with that said, I am a crazy ass bargain hunter. I buy gifts way ahead of time for kids birthdays. I usually will buy tons of toys after Christmas and then store them for the year. I just gave a 4 year old a V-Tech toy that was orig $70 that I got for $13.79 on clearance at target.

depends on the LO... my nephew's birthday is this coming week and I am spending over $50.. but he's my first nephew and I'm so close to him and my sister.
Once my friends have babies and Cobi has friends, it will probably only be $30ish.

I really wonder what we're going to do when we have school birthday parties. I don't mean to be cheap, but I can't see spending more than $20 for a school friend's gift. I'd rather organize something where all the invitees pitch in and get one good gift rather than a bunch of small stuff.
Family is a different story.

My husband has 7 nieces and nephews. We usually spend around $20 because otherwise we would be broke with that and Christmas.
