I have a few ideas for my LO's stockings but my 3-4 ideas is $20+ then times two! That seems like a lot in addition to their gifts. These are non candy items though.
How much do you spend per LO on stocking stuffers?

About $15 so far for each kid. Dollar spot Target items, puzzles, and a Lego Christmas tree set.

I'm not sure of the amount, but one way I make it easier is I put a lot of "needs" in the stocking, like a comb, new toothbrush, floss picks, conditioner....stuff I was going to buy soon but hadn't gotten around to.
Add a few random toys, chocolates, and an orange. -
I think I spend $27, but the soapsox thing was the most expensive at $12.

Cans of play doh are 50 cents at wal-mart, a few of those and you're done!
I also put in a few of those bath paint tubes, you can get those in the dollar section at Target.
I like the idea of a theme, like art supplies, bath stuff, etc.

I actually include stocking stuffers are part of the "gift" so I spend about $40-50. I always do a new movie, socks, underwear, toothbrush (these are a given.) and then I usually throw in snacks/candy, little dollar aisle items, and art supplies.

Planning $20 max each. It's our first time doing stockings this year and trying not to go too overboard

$15-$20 each. DD1 is done and we got her a bell for her scooter, frozen band aid, My Neighbor Totoro (DVD) and critter socks (also her "wear" item).

Around ~$20, but some of it is stuff they need, like socks and underwear and new toothbrush and toothpaste, so I don't feel as bad spending that much in addition to their other gifts.
