Now that the weather is getting cooler, we're enrolling our LO in more activities so we don't go stir crazy. It's starting to add up - with swimming, music, tumbling, we're at almost $150 per month. I wish we had more low cost options around here!

We just had the membership to the children's museum, it's paid for itself 3 times over at least.
eta: we have done swimming in the past, my son didn't love it so we didn't continue it.

@looch: same here, we have memberships to the zoo, acquarium and a few museums. We don't do a lot of extra activities since LO goes to playgroups and preschool. Luckily where we live, child-centric activities are incredibly affordable.

We're currently enrolled in 2 classes, so between those, our museum membership and admission cost to play spaces, we spend around $200/month. Fortunately, our city also has lots of free activities so we take advantage of those too. The zoo (free admission) has sing-alongs twice a week and the Whole Foods markets here host free Gymboree and music classes each week. In general, classes can get very pricey!

Hardly anything. We just make outside play a priority and we have a few projects we decided to do - like make him a teepee - that will hopefully make constant indoor play more fun.
We bought a childrens museum membership, it was $90 for the year - normal admission is about $10 so between the three of us, it paid for itself in three visits.
We do have a Y membership (more for us than him) and DH takes him swimming there weekly, if we wanted to do lessons it's only $40 for 6 weeks. But we haven't signed him up for classes anytime soon - good idea though!
So to answer the question - we don't really spend anything monthly but sometimes have a few expenses.

Woah, that's a lot of money. I spend about $250 per year on three memberships (science museum, children's museum, and the zoo). That's about it.

So far nothing. We bought an annual pass to the aquarium last year though. Kids are free so just bought tickets for me and DH
