@Sams Mom: The BOB will take adapters for carseats other than the Britax. I had a Chico adapter for mine. I am a huge fan of BOBs!
ETA: Britax owns BOB, so I'm pretty sure they write the copy to make it sound like you need a Britax seat, but they sell adapters for other brands.

@Sams Mom: My MIL bought the double Bob for us but I won't try it out until the second LO is here and big enough for it. I think it is unstable if you just have one LO in it. I wanted it because I love to run, and wanted something that would accomodate my giant toddler as he continues to grow....
Keep in mind that it will be huge. Even our single jogger is a pain to take to CVS, etc, as it is so much bigger than a single umbrella stroller (on the other hand i LOVE it for jogging and walks around the neighborhood, especially in bad weather). With the double Bob, I imagine it won't fit through many standard door frames so I really see it as mostly an outdoor stroller....

@periwinklebee: I rarely take the stroller indoors, but in the occasion that I do that sounds rough. I think my husband and I agreed on the Qool even though I'm not sure how much jogging can be done with it. I'll only walk for a long time anyways.

My 3.5 year old will sit in a stroller about once a year at this point. He'd rather scoot or bike or walk.

@periwinklebee: I don’t know what you have now, but I used my double bob all the time before I had my second baby. (I used to take care of another kid during the week, but from 34 weeks until I had my second and on weekends I used the double) and I used the second seat to hold my diaper bag or shopping. Haha. But I also don’t jog with my stroller, just go for long walks. I find the stroller can be tippy with two kids in it as well and also when too use the baby car seat attachment, but overall I still love it. Although, again, I’m a walker.
It also fits through every store door, mostly all single doors (and also my front door) I have ever gone in with some wiggling and careful pushing.

@Sams Mom: I have a graco snugride 35 for my bob duallie. I just had to buy the appropriate stroller adapter bar.

@Sams Mom: Curious what you decided as I’m considering the same. DD will be 3.3 in June when DS arrives.

@yellowbeach: I bought the Joovy Qool and hated it just because Sam is so big he was already too big for the regular stroller seat. So I gave that one to my sister for twins, and bought a Chicco Bravo4Two. It has a bench on the back, and he can stand or sit on it. He does use the seat on occasion right now, but loves that he can hop on and off the back.

@Sams Mom: My sister has that one and loves it! @yellowbeach: Whatever you do, don't buy the Joovy. I hate that thing.

@crazydoglady: what did you hate about it? Because I'm hoping my sister isn't going to hate me for it when the boys get here.
