On a scale of 1-10, I'll say a 1... because I shower. Sadly I don't do much else like dress up, put on makeup... hopefully I'll get better as the weather warms up and life becomes less of a juggle as the kids get older. I never wear makeup anymore, not even to see my friends.
How much effort do you put into looking good for your SO? It doesn't count if you dress up when you see your friends!

I never wear make up either, unless we are going to an event of some sort, or getting family photos. I try and get dressed in nice clothes but that doesn't always happen. Yoga pants usually win over. I always try and do my hair everyday. I am actually working on this overall, to try and feel more like me even though I am a mom. So on a scale 1-10, probably a 3.

Well, i don't put effort into looking good FOR HIM, i do it for myself. But I take care of myself and wear makeup regularly, work out, and wear casual but comfy/cute stuff when we go out to dinner (like a cotton dress or something). I take pride in how I look and I know he appreciates it. I'm hoping I don't become frumpy now that I'm having kids, haha.
Even if I do super casual--yoga pants, t-shirt, headband, my headband is cute and I still look put together.

I make a special effort for him if he takes me somewhere.....! Nice outfit, full face of make up, nicely styled hair.... I usually sulk, too, because he doesn't complient me after I went to all that effort!!! But if we're just chilling at home, I won't go out of my way to "look good" for him - as long as I'm clean and tidy I feel okay.
I'm giving myself a 4.

Hmm, maybe a 5. I don't always shave my legs, but I do wear clothes that he thinks look good most of the time.

I do make some effort, but LO isn't here yet so who knows how it will change! I shower, wear makeup and blowdry my hair every day. When we're at home together I do put on lounging clothes, but they consist of nice jeans and tops I would also wear outside of the house. Dh is really good about complimenting me and he also pretends like he doesn't notice all teh pregnancy weight I am gaining

I try to wear a little makeup every day - concealer, powder, tinted chapstick, and mascara - but that's me for me than anyone else. If we're going on a date I will wear something nice and fix my hair, and generally put in a little more effort.

Like @blackbird, I do me for me; not really for my husband. I do my hair and wear makeup every day, even on weekends when we don’t go anywhere (although then it’s only foundation and a messy bun, versus more makeup and more polished hair for workdays). I do wear yoga pants and t-shirts around the house but they are clean and fit well, not super frumpy clothes or stained, etc.
If he’s taking me out for a nice dinner or something I always put more effort into looking nice.
When I look better, I feel better about myself.

When I was on maternity leave, hmm, a 1. I was so busy with LO that I was doing good if I showered. I would wear pjs, sweats and big tshirts.
Now that I'm back at work and into the swing of things, an 8. I dress up, do my makeup, and my hair. I'm on a roll!

I make a lot of effort but purely for me. My husband totally doesn't care, while I'm into fashion and stuff. I wish he'd notice mu appearance more!

Zero effort, whatsoever. Well, 1, I guess, because I shower, too. My mom is genuinely concerned that DH will leave me because I don't try. LOL! Luckily, DH doesn't care...I think. Eeeps!

I get ready every day so I would say a 8, knocking a couple poinsts off because as soon as I get home from work I wash my face, put on the yoga pants, and veg out...usually before DH gets home. Whenever we go out together I get all dressed up, I enjoy it, but when I'm home I'm 100% comfy!

I would say an 8. I wear makeup and do my hair everyday. However, I change out of my work clothes and are wearing workout clothes by time DH gets home from work.

I was doing great, up until the 3rd trimester. Unfortunately for dh, shaving has gone until LO arrives. I don't *feel* like I could make myself anymore presentable at this point, being at 38 weeks. I've given up lately.
But, hopefully after LO arrives and we have time to adjust, I'll go back to trying to impress him, lol.

I will preface this with: no kids and not pregnant soo..
I get ready with shower and blowdry every day, and full face of make up. Sometimes on Sunday I don't wash my hair.
I do it for myself and for DH.. so I guess an 8-9?

I wear a little makeup everyday when I work (so it's not really for him) and if we go out on a date I'll try to dress up a little and do my hair and makeup. I also do it for me, but he gets the benefit of not having to look at a slob, haha.

I would say 4 - Lo is 5 months old and I make an effort each day to get dressed and look presentable but mainly just to feel better about myself. I generally choose to wear clothes that dh likes - the days of wearing trackies and oversized tshirts have long gone! I try to make an effort for him. If we go out then I try to do hair, makeup and nice clothes.

3. I shower every day and I make sure I at least wear a bra and change out of my pajama shirt. I only wear makeup when we go somewhere. I don't like wasting my makeup if I'm staying home all day. Oh and I wear yoga pants when I'm home.
