My dog is about 30 lbs. and gets a little less than a cup twice a day. I think he's a senior now, as he just turned 9 last week. What age is senior for dog? Actually, I just remembered the vet last fall did a geriatric exam for him (more critical exam) so perhaps 8 is considered a senior?

Our 8 pound Morkie (maltese/yorkie) is free-fed. It takes him a few days to get through one bowl. Lol
