DH and I are going to see a movie tonight and the tickets are $10! Sheesh....I haven't been to the movies in a while because of this reason. I'd almost rather wait until it comes out on DVD, but DH really wants to see this movie. I better fill up before I go so I'm not tempted to buy all the snacks there too

About the same! I always put a bottle of water in my purse and sometimes candy too! I can't stomach spending another $15 on snacks!

Matinee is $6 so we always try to make matinee if we go to the movies. We haven't seen a movie in theaters since J was born! I think reg priced ticket is about $10 as well.

regular tix are $11.50, less for matinees or children, more for 3D showings. we can buy discounted tix at our grocery store or at AAA, but often forget to =/

ugh. More for 3D! It costs us about 50 bucks for a movie for 2 when it's all said and done.

The one we usually go to now is $9 I think, maybe $10 (we usually do matinee, so I can't remember regular prices). The one in our small hometown is $7.50 for weekend/night tickets. I used to work there in high school and tourists would always be amazed it was so cheap. Then again, it only has 4 screens...

$12.50 for a regular ticket at all the theatres near us. $16 for the VIP theatre (21 and older).

$9. We live in a small town with only 3 screens in the theatre
On Tuesdays it's only $5 including tax! Then $9 for large popcorn and drink, so the two of us can go to a movie and get snacks for only $19. It's great!

About $12 for an evening show at our nearby theater. They have a free membership club which lets us watch movies for $6 after they've been out for 2 weeks or so. It's awesome, we almost always wait!

Oh my, this makes me very grateful for my movie theaters! A matinee adult is only 4.75, and night is only 6.50. It was even cheaper up until very recently. We went to a 3-D move yesterday that cost us almost 20$, but that's unusual.

I don't know... It's been years since I've paid full price for a ticket! The last time I went to the movies was when Fandango sponsored a $5 ticket promo... We don't go to the movies much!

I just went last night and it was 10.50$! Medium popcorn and pop was also $10.50 so overall the night cost us around 32$!

I thought it was $10 something but I just checked. It's now 11 for a regular evening movie. Oh for matinee, it's 9.
For 3D, it's $15 and for IMAX is $17.
Honestly, I don't pay regular prices anymore. I go to Costco and pick up two tickets for $15-16.
Or we can get the student price. I forget how much those are.

11.25 but they do $5 Tuesdays so we try to go only on Tuesdays if we can. We also sneak in drinks and order a large popcorn and share it. That way we're only spending $20 instead of $30.

$14 here but it depends on what movie theater you go to. We have a couple really nice ones out here. One charges $19 a ticket but the seats are leather, fully recline, and they have a service button you press if you want to order anything from the concession stand or restaurant. I personally prefer to just wait until movies come out on DVD though, much cheaper!

It's about the same if you go to the expensive one but there's a smaller one that has a $24 movie deal that includes 2 tickets 2 medium drinks and a large popcorn. We always do that, I like supporting locally owned businesses and it is way cheaper.

about $16-18 for an adult ticket, and maybe $14-15 for a student? I hardly ever go to the cinema nowadays because once you factor in food/drinks (even if bought somewhere else and stashed in my bag) it still adds up to at least $50 which is alot for just a few hours. I prefer to wait for the dvd!
