Our son lost two teeth this week! One on Tuesday, and one on Wednesday. He was very excited to wake up to two "gold coins" from the tooth fairy each day (apparently there are gold dollar coins now). Bee glued a little glitter to them, so they look extra sparkly.
He informed me that he's not going to spend this money. Instead, he's going to save them FOREVER. Haha, he is really into the tooth fairy right now.

We have a bunch of coins and paper money from other countries, we'll probably use that. My son is really into currency, lol.

1 dollar. I usually fold it into different shapes. My boys have lost 10 teeth since last year anything more than a dollar would really add up quick. I love the special coin idea too. At their age it's really not about the amount. Mine just like getting something from the tooth fairy.

@Mrs. Train: I used to love folding dollar bills into origami shapes! I think I'll do this when DS starts losing his teeth. I always thought it was so cool. If he doesn't think so, we'll go with the golden dollar coin then. Something different and unique.
