I think the same rule as wedding registry's applies. Options are always nice, and expensive items are fine because sometimes groups of friends put money together for something special.

I was feeling the same way about our registry and my mom told me, "Stop looking in other people's bank accounts." She said people will buy what they can afford and sometimes go in together on the more expensive items. I agree, more is better, especially when their are options of varying price ranges.

The more the better. I like being able to have lots of options on a registry. And with 3 showers, you will need a really big one!

i put everything i wanted/needed. because you're also doing it for you. i put a $700 stroller on it, even though i know people will not buy it, because i'll get at least 10% off the price on completion.
