My parents never kept anything of mine and I wish they did! My friend's mom kept her coming-home outfit and my friend used it to bring her daughter home. So sweet!
I don't know how much of DD's stuff I will keep but I definitely want to save something!

I never even thought of this, I should pull out her coming home outfit and at least keep that.

I am keeping all of her clothes in storage (excluding those that have been stained beyond repair), just in case LO # 2 is a girl.
But I'm particularly attached to her coming home outfit, and a particular dress and cardigan.

I kept a few little things from the hospital (the shirt & hat they put her in, her & my ID bracelets, etc) and put them in a shadow box with pictures. I love the way it turned out and now I don't have to worry about losing them!
I'll probably do the same in the future...my mom didn't keep anything and it still makes me sad

I have the outfit he came home with. I kept all of his clothes so far. We plan to have a few more so we will be keeping them for a while.

I'm keeping her coming home outfit, first Christmas, christening and some other fav pieces. Luckily my mom saved a bunch of sweaters that were knit for me as a baby, so my daughter gets to wear them now.

I am keeping his coming home outfit and anything my grandma knit and his hospital hat and our ID bracelets.
I am keeping all the kids' clothing until they are like WAY too big for them. I can't sell just yet, even though he is in 12m clothing.
ETA: I kept his umbilical cord stump in a zip lock bag until he was like, 9m old but then DH found it and was appalled. I tossed it.

I'm trying to limit what I keep but its hard. I'm keeping a couple of sweaters that I knitted for her while I was pregnant, and trying to decide on a few outfits that family members gave her but its hard to narrow down. We received some really adorable clothing, especially from our British relatives. Such cute clothes in the UK!
DH is no help. Normally he's really hardline about hanging on to things we don't use, but he's a total softie about hanging on to LO's newborn clothes.

We are keeping her hospital hat, coming home outfit, and her first pair of shoes! My parents saved my hospital onesie and my first shoes. The shoes are in lo's room, and I'm so glad my parents saved them!

My mom kept my coming home outfit and few favourites. Now my daughter wears them. One of the sleepers with a zipper up both legs is genius for night time changes.
I'll keep the outfit she came home in and probably a few other favourites.

I'm keeping both of their hospital onesies, hat, my medical wrist bands, and their first shoes. I'm not really that sentimental about things like this but I just can't part with these items! I want to keep them forever!

So far I have only kept hand knit things from DS's grandma. I gave away or sold ALL of his baby stuff since we didn't have storage for it.

I don't have anything from my childhood except for a picture or two. I have a feeling I'm going to keep everything (and I do mean everything). I'm more willing to let go of clothes, but I plan in hoarding all of their toys in my attic. I'll save them for my future grandkids. Hehe. DH is not helpful either. He doesn't want to let anything go because he has a memory attached to all of LO's things.

All of her handmade knitted stuff. I'm really sentimental and think it's so cool when others keep stuff, and I normally do, but right now I just want to get rid of it all.

I have kept everything and I have found it easier to give things away now, with the exception in the tale ally itty bitty stuff. Seems like the more time that goes by, the less attached I become.

I don't think my mom kept any clothes but a few special books and blankets. I would like to limit myself to a shoe box size for coming home outfit, first shoes, etc.

I have kept everything so far (hellllllo hoarder!), but I plan to go through her stuff soon and consign some of it. I am the oldest and my sisters have told me to hold onto things for them, or if we decide to have another child, but I think it's time to let go. My Mom didn't have anything of hers so she saved a bunch of things for me, obviously I will keep those things. I will also save her coming home outfit, and a few other favorite things. It's time to let go of the rest and get her outfitted with some new stuff!

i am going to keep onesies that my friends and family made for us at our baby shower, as well as one outfit i bought for him and his coming home onesie. everything else was hand me downs so i'm not sentimentally attached.

I haven't thought that much about it! Her hospital shirt was way too big in her anyway so no sense in saving that. Her coming home outfit is actually the same one my nephew wore home (and my sister and I are the godmother a for each) so I would probably pass that on to my other sisters.
I'll save anything hand made of course. Her baptism gown is the one Dh nd his brother wore so obviously we will save that one carefully! And I saved her hospital hat even though Dh wanted to throw it out
Eta: most of her clothes I'm lending to my good friend who is having a baby girl in January. She will give them back when her baby grows out and then I have them in case #2 is a girl.

maybe just a little. i'm not really the type to be sentimental about those things. DH parents brought over bags of clothes, blankets and toys from when DH was a baby, when we were pregnant with DS....i still don't know what to do with the clothes....DH doesn't want them either.
