My friend says it's roughly one year. T got his first year molars at 16/17 months - he's almost 27 months and no sign of 2 year molars yet. I've thought he was getting them a few times but they haven't cut yet. By my friends theory they are due to appear next month

I don't remember. I've blocked I out molars. Her final 2ye molar came through last month, so she was 34 months old.

I don't remember but B has all of his teeth. He got his 2 year molars around 23 months. He's been early getting his teeth.

My son is almost 34 months and still hasn't gotten his second year molars, crazy!

DS is 22 months and just got his first 2-year molar. His 1-year molars came in right around 13 or 14 months. He didn't get his first tooth until 10 months though and it seems like it's been non-stop ever since.

DS is 20 months and we are thick of 2 year molar teething. He's always been an early teether. He had his first year molars in before his canines at 10 or 11 months.

@winniebee: I had no idea he didn't have them yet!! M got her first molar on 7/7/13 (13 months) and her last second molar came through sometime in June this year (24 months).

Oh, I hope that's right. I'm going to need some time to let amnesia take its effect before we do round 2. Although, I guess we have to deal with canines in between. Teething suuuuuuuuccccks.

Not here! 12 month molars around 14-16 months.. Maybe. (god my memory has gone to shiz. She only had 3 teeth at her first bday).
She's getting 2 yr molars now, about 22 months!

A little under a year. His first year molars came in at 11 months, his 2 years came in at 22-23 months (at least the top two, the bottom ones are coming through now).

Exactly one year! His last molar just came in.
The 2 year molars were a much better experience than the canines and 1-year molars!

@Sammyfab: I HOPE this is true for us too! We got one year molars and canines at the same time around 13 months and it was BAD.

@autumn865: @sorrycharlie: Oh gosh...the canines and 1-year molars were horrific. Bright red, puffy cheeks and 20-minute meltdowns that involved flopping and banging on the floor. The 2-year molars involved a handful (4-5?) of crying fits that were quickly solved with Camilia or Motrin. Otherwise, they just kind of appeared!

@Sammyfab: one year molars were sooooo bad. Canines not quite as bad. I'm scared. Very scared.

None of B's teething has been bad. However his classmates at daycare may disagree. He went through biting phases while getting his 1 and 2 year molars.

@littlek: Tyler eats poorly while getting serious teeth like molars or canines. Also he woke up at night while getting his first year molars which is rare (and he woke up a handful of times over the last month which I think was teeth related).
