Um hours upon hours? Especially if I have insomnia.
One of my dreams is just to lay in bed all day, snack and binge watch good tv. That would be a momcation!
On a typical day though I usually watch one show before bed.
What about you?

My answer is definitely hours upon hours if it's a good show. I take that back - I can watch hours of bad TV too...like reality show marathons...but usually I do stuff like fold laundry or clean. But if my husband is out of town and I can't sleep I'll watch a few hours of real housewives and eat snacks

Way too many hours. Pre-baby I watched entire seasons in a day or two sometimes.
My friends and I were recently talking about how all we wanted was a day to sit around in sweats and watch tv all day by ourselves.

If it's a good series I can watch nonstop! I am trying to catchup on Downton Abby as we speak (type). We canceled our DirecTV so I am trying to watch on my iPad through Amazon prime.

I can watch hours upon hours. But never do because my son doesn't nap long and we get up early so if I stay up past 10, I pay for it.

It depends- I rarely can just watch tv, I usually have to have another project going on at the same time or be feeling crummy to be able to sit still for so long.

Depends on the show. Downton Abbey got me for at least 2-3 hrs today.

Before baby, we would totally stay in bed and binge watch TV shows for hours and hours.

@sunny: we would totally do this pre-baby. We binge watched so many shows!

Forever? We watch a lot of pawn stars, dirty jobs, etc for long periods of time around here.

Most TV shows bore me or are so ridiculous I spend the entire thing rolling my eyes so I rarely watch. If it's a show that I'm super into, I could marathon for hours at a time as long as I have some sort of work on the computer to do at the same time or a craft project. I can't just sit in front of the TV and watch. Drives DH crazy when we watch movies but I get antsy and bored otherwise. I will put the TV on when I'm knitting or sewing or organizing files on my laptop or processing photos. Anything will do but I tend to like documentary type shows for that and I only end up giving it partial attention.
If DH had his way, he would have the TV on the entire time he's home despite him not even paying attention to it. He likes the constant bombardment of entertainment I guess, but it gives me a headache so if I notice he's not actively watching, I turn it off. I have been curtailing our TV consumption a little at a time since we found out we have a baby coming. My goal is to have DH used to not having the TV on at all in the background by the time the baby comes. I am DETERMINED to have zero screen time for this kid until 2. May be impossible but I'm sure going to try!

@Mrs. Bee: we used to do that before we had a baby. Oh, those were the days. To be able to watch an entire series in one day.

How much time ya got?!?!!? SO MUCH TV. I am alone a lot so I have it on or I go crazy. Sorry LO apparently it will mess you up having the TV on around you. We joke that Andy from Bravo WWHL is "uncle Andy." Just love me some Bravo.

It depends. If I'm just flipping channels and nothing good is on, I have a hard time staying still. If it's a good movie/show that I want to watch, or I'm watching stuff stored in DVR, I can def watch like 3 hours worth of TV in one sitting!

Hours, I love TV. I used to love to binge watch shows before LO, and tend to plop on the couch as soon as she's in bed to watch all my DVRed shows!

all day long. I actually totally did that while on bedrest. It was nice for the first couple days, then I wanted to move around
I would love to get a hotel room and binge watch TV all day too! I want to watch the whole Sex and the City series- I've never seen it! I keep checking craigslist to buy the series.

If it's a good show, hours. Even then though I seem to have a short attention span while watching TV and I'm usually fiddling on my phone at the same time.

All day and all night, haha! Sometimes I work from home, so I like the tv on, to keep me company... usually talk shows that I don't pay attention to. And then the tv just STAYS on through the night, as DH and I are total homebodies and love our tv shows. Weekends are especially bad, because we can sit on the couch ALL DAY for like 12 hours binge watching shows.
Clearly we don't have kids yet, haha!!

It depends on the show. Hubby and I recently got addicted to watching Breaking Bad on Netflix and it's sooo good! We have to force ourselves to turn off the TV so we can get some sleep

I could watch tv all day, as long as I have a craft to work on.
We watch too much tv in the winter. DS goes to bed early and some nights we just watch shows until we go to bed.

Indefinitely? I don't think I ever can say "Okay I've had enough of TV. I can't do it anymore". Lol. If I didn't have other things to do in life I could just watch it forever. Sad.
