Like the title says, how often did or does your EBF infant poop?
With C it was many times a day- almost every time I fed her.
G is completely different. Sometimes she will go a couple times in a day, but she goes several days without pooping or just a tiny bit. I know that can still be normal but she seems uncomfortable. I wish she would just poop and be less cranky! (She is 3 weeks old).

Dd pooped like 6-10 times a day for the first 6 months!
Ds started pooping 1x a week around 3ish weeks old

@yellowbird: does he get increasingly cranky in between? And are they massive blow outs when it happens? She seemed so much happier when she was pooping a few times a day, but I know she's a newborn and every day is different anyway...

She has 1-2 big poops a day and a couple of smaller ones too.

She's 9 months now and one big poop a day sometimes two but solids mess with that schedule
And don't even get me started about the car seat. Without fail, she always has a massive poop blowout in the car seat. Even if she just pooped. I can count off the top of my head 9 times I have changed her in the local mall parking lot and then had to go to gap to buy a pair of clearanced priced leggings. And that's only the mall trips. Girlfriend is mighty comfy in her car seat.

Once a week (or even more!)from 2 weeks-3 months. She was quite a fussy baby.
She's just started going more often these past few weeks and is a much happier little girl !

Felix gave up pooping on a daily basis at six days and until he started solids he only pooped twice a week!

@Foodnerd81: he would only really get cranky maybe an hour before he pooped finally, and yes! They were blowouts!!! Now he's 9 months and eating solids and he poops 1-3 times daily.

Up until this week, 3+ times per day. Now all of a sudden it's every couple days. She seems more uncomfortable, and the risk of blowouts is much higher, so I don't like it. Though she saves most of them for daddy, so that's nice.

@Torchwood: I had a dentist appt yesterday so it was my first time away from the baby for a couple of hours- I was so hoping she would do it while I was gone! No luck. The toddler even waited until I got home to poop and insisted I change it- traitor.

My first LO pooped at every feeding as a newborn. My 2nd is 7 weeks and poops 3-5 times a day plus a lot of sharting.

@Foodnerd81: D usually goes once or maybe twice a day. S on the other hand goes around 3-5x a day...at 20 months. Oy.

She's gone through different phases. For the first 3 weeks or so, it was pretty much every diaper change. After that, it was once a day for a little while. Then a phase of once every 3 days. Then back to once a day. Now we're in a stretch of 3-4 times a day at 4 months. The every 3 days was rough, she always seemed uncomfortable and the blowouts were bad. But it was a phase, and didn't last long.

C used to poop after every feed until around 3 months then he started going once a week. That one a week is huge though! He's only 4.5 months now so who knows what will be next. I do feel like he is fussier when it's been 3+ days.

DD1 was constantly. DD2 is like every 4 days! It's crazy nasty in between and she's very gassy otherwise.

Seeing these responses that other babies also went a few days at a time- and got extra fussy in between- at least makes me feel better that it's not that there is something wrong with my LO. I wish I could get her going every day though- this extra crankiness is not helpful.

DD was every feeding. DS started as every feeding and then switched to every 5 days. Dr said it was normal. Never had a hard time with the bowel movements.
