And how old are they?
DS is 26 months and we give him one every night. I'm starting to think it is too much.

25 months and probably 6 nights a week. It would be every night but some nights we run out of time.

DD is 18 mos and we do every 3-4 nights or if she's really dirty from daycare or outside play. However, now that it's summer her kiddie pool and water table have helped rinse her off on non bath nights
ETA: bath isn't, and never was, part of our bedtime routine.

With our 3 year old, we have done every night since she was maybe 2 months old. It's more of a bedtime routine thing than it's about getting her clean. My one month old gets bathed like, twice a week at this point. But pretty soon we'll probably start establishing a nighttime routine and bathing him every night.

E is 22 months old and we bath her Sunday, Wednesday and Friday. We used to do it every night but her skin is so sensitive and dries out if we bath her too much. If she gets really dirty, we will give her an extra bath of course, but I don't wash her hair then.

Every day, especially in the summer/spring/fall. He gets FILTHY from playing at the park. We wash his hair every other day.

She is 26 months and we do every other night. Now that it is summer and she is getting sweaty and sunscreen, starting to do every night.

Every other night, unless she gets super dirty from something. Even if she's mildly dirty and it's not a bath night, I just wash her hands and face before bed.

Every night...part of his bedtime routine. I usually only use soap about twice a week, though (maybe).

12 months and he gets a bath pretty much every day. He puts food in his hair quite often and he also loves bath time. It's not part of our bedtime routine so he's ok if we skip it though.

She's 4.5 months and she gets a bath every night.
It's part of our bedtime routine but it was also recommended to help with her eczema. We wash her hair 2-3 times a week.

My daughter is 2.5 in the summer, everyday. When it's cool out, every other unless she's dirty from playing.
My 7 week old gets one 2xa week

29 months, every other night. More if she has on sunscreen or got sweaty that day.

Thanks for all the responses.
I'm thinking of less frequent since he is starting to not like bath time as much and doesn't even want bubbles. Bath is part of his bedtime routine but we don't wash hair or use soap every night.

At 5 months we do nightly but I use soap every other day
And always lotion after

LO is almost 2.5 years old. during the winter, we bathed him every 2 or 3 days. now that it's warmer and he's stinkier, it's almost every day, but i try to do every other day as his eczema has been acting up. when we do give him a bath, i try not to use too much soap. but otherwise baths are nice because he has fun and it gives me a little break.

My LOs are almost 3.5 and 2 and they get a bath every night.

During the summer/warmer months, every night!
During the winter, every other night (due to dry skin/eczema flare-ups)

We bathe our 8.5 month old 3-4 nights a week - right now, Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. No Friday bath because he has swimming lessons on Saturday mornings.

DS is 17 months and we bathe him every night, have done since he was 2 months. It is part of his bedtime routine and he adores his bath! I only wash his hair once a week though unless it gets food in it!

15 months and 2x a week max. Now that she's wearing sunscreen every day and it's hot we are doing 2-3x but before that it's been 1x a week. We wipe her bottom daily of course.

Every other night unless he's particularly filthy. Since preschool has started using the playground again (it was a looong winter indoors!), it's every night these days.
pomegranate / 3658 posts
Six weeks old, bathe her once a week. I wipe her face and neck daily with soapy cloth wipes to clean up breastmilk residue. And of course we're wiping her butt with soapy cloth wipes all the time.

Every day. Once in a blue moon we skip it, but it's pretty rare. He gets sunscreen every day, he's out playing in the sand at daycare every day, and he loves to take his food covered hands and wipe them in his hair. He's usually pretty gross by the end of the day .

20 months and daily since about 4 months. It used to be for the sake of routine but she's such a messy eater it's kind of necessary these days. I bathe my 4 week old once a week and wipe her down with a baby wipe everyday.

Every night, as part of bedtime. I like to get all the downtown dirt off her. But I only wash her hair twice a week. 2.5 years old.

DS is 22 months; and I bathe him every night. He sweats a lot and gets really dirty at daycare. I try not to bathe him as often in the winter because he gets really dry skin.

Every other night otherwise her hair gets really limp.

She's 2.5 and every night! We don't soap up every night though....

8.5 months, every other night. Unless he has sunscreen on, messy eating, etc that really requires it

My little guy is 27 months and we do every other day unless he is filthy or slathered in sunscreen.
pomelo / 5524 posts
Every night since he started baths. We made it part of his bedtime routine and just never stopped. He's 2.5 and we wash his hair every other day. Especially in the summer, he needs a bath every day. He gets way too dirty to not have one. If we have a late night, we may skip bath every once in a while.
cantaloupe / 6923 posts
We've always done every night. My daughter's dermatologist told us that bathing every night won't change her exzema and I've found it to be true. She's always sticky haha so she needs a bath every night.
Oh and they are 14 months and 2 months.
pomegranate / 3921 posts
Our 4.5 month old is in the bath every night (unless we're not home at the normal time for some reason). If we're pressed for time, we don't wash with soap, we just let her splash around. We do every night because she LOVES being in the bath--she kicks around like a madwoman and cracks up practically the whole time.
