DD is 2 weeks away from being 6 mo and we really only bathe her once a week, but will bathe more if she is dirty. She was born in Dec so we really did not need to bathe her much... I think now that it's getting hotter she'll go up to 3 baths or more.

DS is 2 yo and he gets a bath every Friday but showers with DH randomly throughout the week. His face and hands are wiped after every meal though. DD is 4.5 months and gets a bath every Friday, but is washed with a washcloth throughout the week.

Roughly every other night. Usually ends up being about 4 out of 7 nights of the week.

@ALV91711: well if you ask my 2 year old he would tell you he hadn't had a bath in 5 years! Lol! He told my mom this yesterday while she was watching him.
We try to do a bath every other night and if needed

22 months and we do bath every other night or every 3 nights if we are pressed for time or I'm lazy. She's actually been getting a little stinky so being better about doing it every other night. Hair gets washed every time.
She wears sunscreen on her arms and face most days now, but I don't feel like I really need to wash that off every night? Obviously we wash her hands throughout the day and wipe her face after meals.

Every other night unless she needs more. Lately it has been a bit more because I always give her a bath if I've put sunscreen all over her that day (which has been a bit more often now that it is nice out!) or if she made too huge a mess at dinner. Luckily she doesn't seem to dry out too much even if we bathe her a few nights in a row so long as we lotion her up.

Twice a week. He's only 6 weeks old so isn't getting himself into anything dirty yet - but he does get wiped during diaper changes, and his hands and face are wiped several times a day after feeding. I'm really not sure how he gets so much milk all over himself while I'm breastfeeding.

Wow! I'm surprised that so many of you guys do daily baths! How do you find the time? We usually bathe our son (2.5) once or twice a week, as needed. We have a huge water shortage in CA, so that's another consideration for us.

we used to do every night for both kids. since olive turned 3, we do it 2-3 times a week. it's easier in the winter, but in the summer they get really dirty since it's hot and humid here. but overall we don't bathe that often!

Wow, I'm surprised in so many daily baths. The odd time we don't do bath he just gets a wipe.
@turkeylurkey: Hilarious!!

During the summer, every day. But only every 2 days during the fall and winter (unless they get super dirty). They break out in dry patches during the winter months if we bathe them everyday.

Every night for my 4 month old. It's part of her routine. I only do her face an hair ever 2-3nights though.

I have a weird kid that prefers the shower to a bath so he gets to shower every other day since his skin is way too sensitive for more often. He'd love to go every morning though.

My almost 3 yr old and 15 month old get baths every second or third night, depending on how lazy I'm feeling any particular evening. Once DD1 starts preschool in the fall, she'll start getting a bath every night to wash all the germs and whatever else off, but for now, every second or third night suffices!

Typically we give them a bath or shower every night. But we skip nights here and there when we are too tired. Mine are 4 years and almost 18 months.
