I'm so bad about cleaning my makeup brushes. I do it every couple of months and wash them with some baby shampoo. Since having LO though, I haven't done it in a loooooong time. Every time I think about it, it's when I'm putting on makeup and I just don't have the time to do it then.
How often do you wash your makeup brushes? And how do you wash them?

I used to do it often with my bare minerals brushes, then I got lazy and never did.... then DH bought me a new brush set for Christmas.
I haven't washed them yet-- :T... probably should tonight. LOL

Never, I did recently wash my bare minerals one but I've had them for two years now.

I wash them with shampoo once a month but will clean them off with a spray (like this one: http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=VP10895&categoryId=cat80092) several times a week. Eyeliner brushes get cleaned with every use (I'm paranoid), eyeshadow brushes when I'm changing colors (every 2-3 days?), and face brushes every week or so.

I used to do it NEVER!!! Then with a refill of bare minerals I got some brush conditioning wash so now I do it every now and then... whenever my concealer brush starts getting particularly funky.

I try and remember to do it every two weeks. Just think about it: the dirt, oil, and germs build up on your brushes over time and have the potential to cause you to break out. It's overall unsanitary. I should probably do it once a week, but it is a hassle waiting for them to dry. From all the beauty youtube videos out there, I've learned it's okay to use antibacterial dish soap rather than spending extra money for this product.

I have never washed a brush ever.
I now have some reaaaaaally nice MAC brushes and I'm supposed to wash them, but it's been months and I haven't. I keep thinking about it when I am putting my make up on and yea, I just don't have time to do that right before work! I REALLY should though soon!

Eek...not often enough. I think the last time I did it was probably 3 months ago and I need to do it again but will probably put it off for another few months! I'm thinking this time I might just buy some new brushes...I've had this set for a few years.

Everyday I use bobbi brown's spray cleaner on them. They get a thorough scrubbing with brush cleaner about every other week or so. I'm kinda anal about it.
